  1. precautionary
  2. It looks like Kent, Garlett, Jetta and Hibberd will be fit for round 1. Whether they are picked due to lack of match practice is another question
  3. Still have no clue how people still think Pedo will play with zero match practice under his belt There is no chance he will play
  4. Will people be asked to leave if they attend a non-open training session?
  5. Montagna not playing round 1. Confirmed by a mate who was at a St Kilda meeting tonight with all the players.
  6. Really doubting Hibberd for round 1 at this point
  7. so it looks like we will be getting Jeffy and Jetta in, which is great. Now hopefully Hibberd can have a hitout this weekend as well as Kent. The 2 are some of my favourites but I wouldn't be taking in underdone players into round 1. I doubt Montagna will play for the Saints - big out for them as he's such a leader for them
  8. MELBOURNE Dom Tyson made a successful return from a knee injury against West Coast, collecting 24 disposals. He is likely to play in a practice match for Casey Scorpions this week as a final tune-up for Round 1. “I’m hopeful, without writing my name in pen just yet,” he told the Demons website. “It’s a pretty impressive side we’ll be dishing out in Round 1, so I’ve got to reassess after next week’s game.” It’s not clear if that side will include Michael Hibberd, who was left out of the team for the final JLT game after having his foot stomped on at training. He has played just one pre-season match after missing all of last season. Sam Frost (toe) and Dean Kent (back) are racing the clock to take on St Kilda but the Dees say Jeff Garlett (hamstring) and Neville Jetta (quad) will be available for selection. Jay Kennedy-Harris (broken arm) will miss 6-8 weeks while Aaron vandenBerg is out for up to six weeks with a foot stress fracture.
  9. The problem we've had in the JLT so far is we've been too tall in the forward line, which is easily correctable. The competition is Weid vs Spencer. Spencer wins. Obviously he can chop out in the ruck and has shown he can impact on the scoreboard. Other than that all Spence has to do is compete and crash the packs we desperately missed our smalls. We needed their forward pressure and their zippiness around the footy. I'm really starting to doubt Kents spot considering he hasn't played any JLT and also missed the intraclub. Garlett I'm a little more confident on, but he'll have to get some Casey games in
  10. Is this a joke? Jetta is our most reliable defender
  11. I said I wasn't gonna do a deadset prediction until after JLT and now that it's over... (considering injuries. I'd probably have Frost over O.Mac) B: Jetta - O.Mac - Hibberd HB: Hunt - T.Mac - Vince C: Lewis - Oliver - Stretch HF: Petracca - Hogan - Kent FF: Garlett - Spencer - Watts FOLL : Gawn - Viney - Jones INT: Tyson - Brayshaw - Melksham - Salem EMG: Weideman - Bugg- Smith
  12. West coasts skills are great
  13. It's just our skills at the moment. They are absolutely horrible. Crazy considering how clean they were against Carlton
  14. It's gotta be either Spencer or Weid it it doesn't take a genius to guess who's winning at the moment
  15. Pretty sure Harmes got punched in the head with no free
  16. And Garland. Oh boy this team has come far
  17. We defiantly miss the players we've got out tonight (Jetta, Kent, Garlett, Hibberd)
  18. It seems to be the vfl players making mistakes. Harmes, Neal-Bullen main offenders
  19. Harmes is not a best 22 player
