  1. Saw on Twitter before that Melbourne and Hawthorn had even engaged in trade talks and said the deal was going to be "next to nothing". Tomorrow will be an interesting day!
  2. I'm actually really [censored] off that we didn't get Lewis. [censored] Clarko
  3. So is Lewis definitely not happening??? This is rumour is toying with me
  4. I think Rockliff would be a good pickup, But I'd be inclined to trade anything more than Dunn and pick 28
  5. Would you like to return Weid and get another inside midfielder in the draft this year? I know what my answer would be
  6. Lol
  7. We we will still beat them next year
  8. Did anyone hear Plough's list analysis on us last night? To sum it up, he said it is the best list out of teams outside the 8. Thinks we have a good chance of finals next year and should definitely play finals in 2018. Said the group still lacks maturity. We are addressing our need with Hibberd. Lack of maturity got exposed in the last 2 weeks. Still need someone with class and elite kicking skills. At the end, Damian Barrett said he believed that Melbourne could still throw another curve ball in this trade period. Thoughts?
  9. Get big please
  10. Brisbane came to us about Dunn yesterday, so they clearly haven't lost interest. It said that we'd spoken to a number of clubs yesterday. I wonder what about?
  11. Well think about it like they are getting overs for Hanley. moving from 21 to 8 means WAY more than moving from 43 to 30
  12. Haha just came to me mate. Hope Josh Mahoney reads DL
  13. LIGHT BULB JUST WENT OFF Melbourne Receive: Pick 30 , Pick 52 Melbourne Lose: Lynden Dunn , Pick 46 Brisbane Receive: Lynden Dunn , pick 8 Brisbane Lose: Pearce Hanley, pick 30 Hawthorn Receive: Jaeger, O Meara Hawthorn Lose: Pick 14, pick 52, Kaiden Brand, Will Langford Gold Coast Receive: Pearce Hanley, Kaiden Brand, Pick 14, pick 46, Will Langford, Seems like all 4 clubs would agree to that was going to give GCS pick 21 and 22 to Brizzy instead of 8 but pick 8 is more valuable to Brisbane because 21 and 22 give GCS more points for Bowes. THEN: Melbourne Receive: Michael Hibberd Melbourne Lose: 2017 2nd rounder, pick 52 (possibly add 2017 1st if they don't budge) Essendon Receive ; Melbourne 2017 2nd rounder, pick 52 Essendon Lose: Michael Hibberd THEN: Melbourne Receive: Pick 15 Melbourne Lose: Pick 28 and Pick 30 GWS Receive : Pick 28 and Pick 30 GWS Lose: Pick 15 Gws gain 200 points for their academy guns OVERALL TRADE PERIOD Melbourne Receive: Michael Hibberd, Pick 15 Melbourne Lose: Pick 26, Pick 46, 2017 2nd rounder Not bad?

  15. I dislike Essendon as much as the next demon supporter but I don't think it's fair to bash them. There are 2 current trade scenarios. 1 pick is more valuable than the other. Perhaps a 3rd party could be involved. Or we give them pick 45 as well. Will probably just end up being 2016 2nd
  16. Interesting. Does this mean Joel Smith is due for an upgrade? Would he become a normal player on the rookie list or straight to the main list?
  17. We will want to land a big fish with the OOC players next year being amazing. Doubt we trade 2017 1st
  18. can someone copy and paste the article here?
  19. This boy is one of my favourites. His speed, composure and evasiveness is something that few others on our list posses
  20. When it's not his day, he is utterly useless. However more often than not he was excellent this year kicking goals and setting them up.
  21. I'm not for it. From what I've seen he shies away from the hard stuff and doesn't like getting his knees dirty. Good with ball in hand but a bit soft
  22. http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/out_of_contract_players?year=2017 early I know, but the players coming out of contract at the end of next season are insane. I know a lot of these players will re-sign by then but wow. Surely we go hard for a big fish?
  23. We could get Nankervis for pick 44, but then our 1st pick in the draft would be 62
  24. hahahaha no
