On my umpteenth viewing last week I noticed that, after his initial involvement in the bounce, Luke isn't on the receiving end of Viney's toe poke by design; he actually stumbles out of the centre action but amazingly it's to where the toe poke goes, and in the direction of its movement. He recovers instantly, and the rest is history.

He does, but then in a funny way he doesn't seem to. He's one of those players for whom time seems to slow. I also noticed in 'The 59' how much Tom McDonald was involved in the delivery to him. Also noticed quite a few one-hand scoops on the run, of which 'that' GF goal was the pinnacle - a trademark unfolding? And isn't it great to see good old fashioned leads, to precision (yes, precision!) delivery, culminating in leaping chest marks.

His caption for Tom Sparrow's kick for goal in 'that 32 seconds' is "Tom Sparrow gets the ball away". And for Clayton Oliver's post-goal glory arc it's "Clayton Oliver celebrates a goal". LOL. Really.

And presumably several others share all that with respect to their selves. Just the right word, Fork. I let out a literal primal scream, a sound I'd never made before, piercing, and entirely involuntary (scared my partner - and me a bit!). Funny thing is, I can't be certain it was that goal; I think it was - must have been? - and so I'm with you on your other point: How I'd love to relive that moment and feeling in real time. Perhaps next time(/year?😉) there will be the same moments and we can watch it all more mindfully and come away with better-filled memory banks.
