Jayden Hunt
His style of play has gone out of favour at the MFC, his strength is to run and kick it long down the line from half back beyond that he is bog standard vfl level player. With the way teams play now it's about holding onto the ball until you are inside 50, a bomb down the line is more likely than not to come straight back with interest.

To Hell & Back Episode 3
I thought it was just a given that Rowell and Anderson were picks 1 and 2, and green given he was an academy pick for gws was probably always going to end up there, so realistically it seems Jackson was the only player on the radar for us.

To Hell & Back Episode 3
Interesting it was only really between green and Jackson at pick 3, young and others weren't even mentioned
- Wait for this to be rorted!

To Hell & Back Episode 1
Think they just forgot some punctuation "To Hell and back?"

Harley Bennell Injury
Was always a long shot, at least better to happen now and not after we pick him up

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Not sure y we are so into this kid, under sized ruck by modern standards and not shown enough as a key fwd IMO and those are speculative enough as is with high picks, surely we need a player like Hayden Young more, hard to see any return on this kid inside the next 4 years
-
Hayden Young (Drafted by Fremantle)
To classy for us, we will surely draft another honest inside mid. I look fwd commenting in the to why didnโt we draft Hayden young threads of the future
-
Caleb Serong (Drafted by Fremantle)
Watched some highlights the other week, a lot of no look get it down the field 50 meter kicks, Iโd like us to draft the best player who can hit a target on the lead from 30 meters with a flat punt
-
Jack Martin
Indeed it does, but like Luke ball he could put a price of 1 million for 1 year, and have a hand shake to play for 400 the next 2
-
James Aish
So long as he doesnโt come on big money or cost anything much in picks, donโt see why not. At minimum he ads to our depth, might even find a spot, would be an upgrade on the Wagners or Anb who are still on our list and play senior games

Farewell Sam Frost
How many players still have a question mark at 26 years of age and turn it round. I think what we saw this year is as good as it gets for him.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Tigers got pick after there 2nd which is as high as you can go without been a first round comp, gws get end of 2nd round which is lowest 2nd round comp you can get. Ladder position makes them similar picks in the end but the contacts is suspect would be significantly different, Iโm guessing 3 years and high 300 - low 400 for Tomlinson based on that
-
Jamie Elliott
Elliot signed a 1 year deal last year in the middle of his injury issues, he would be on a very reduced wage atm, I would be surprised if Melbourne has offered him anything exceptional itโs mainly just the security of time my guess would be something in the 400-500 range dependant on certain mile stones being reached

Lewis Taylor
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2019/10/02/crow-and-lion-attracting-interest-from-sydney/ Reports Lewis Taylor is on the move, hopefully the dees are making enquires as well, he would be a handy pickup especially if Elliot decides not to leave pies for dees, wouldnโt cost much either I would think.

Phantom Drafts
There is so much throw it on the boot and get it fwd 50 meters at under 18 level, none of it tells us who can hit someone with a bullet kick at pace in traffic, something we sorely lack, from what Iโve seen and read Kemp is the best bet but he did an acl, given no one at Melbourne expected to have a pick 3 I wouldnโt be against a gamble on him.

Farewell Sam Frost
Feels like ground hog day here replace Frosts name with Watts, Silvia, Travis Johnstone or woewodin and itโs the same discussion, other than Stef Martin and Howe I canโt think of a single player in the last 20 years I regret losing, and I donโt think we had a choice with the last 2

Trac should be our โdustyโ
Other than talk from the club after we drafted him, what has he ever shown at AFL level to show he is elite, he has now played near 100 games and will be 24 at the start of next season and we are still waiting for that break out game. Odds are he wonโt reach the hights we were all hoping for. Brayshaw on the other hand is the bigger mystery, he was elite in the 2nd half of last year matching it with the best of them, if he can find that level again he could be talked about in the same breath as Dangerfield who isnโt a good kick either but makes the most of all his other attributes

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
So who do you suggest going after instead as doing nothing is going backwards, he will be a best 22 wonโt cost picks and would command no more than a modest contract. If itโs a matter of him or frost Iโd take him, he offers more utility round the ground and if our backline is fit frost wouldnโt be in the 22 imo as it is rare you need a permanent 3rd tall in the backline these days. A best 22 over a backup is the no brainer on that case

- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
Feels like they will use him in a similar role to Pederson who we have sorely missed since his retirement- Jamie Elliott
So the fact pies only had 20 inside 50โs to half time had nothing to do with that, almost our whole list must be past there used by your logic. He has been one of these better players in the 2nd half of the year and would be a major asset in our fwd line over the likes of spargo or anb or anyone else you could mention- Farewell Sam Frost
Thatโs just talk to get his price up- Farewell Sam Frost
Frost is a liability, as long as he is in best 22 we aren't going anywhere. Not to say he isn't in our best 22 however, just that if he is we wont be challenging for a flag. - WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
