  1. Could pick almost anyone in the team but for mine Out: Hogan (ankle/ rest), Brayshaw (needs a run or 2 in vfl first), Oliver (rest) in: no idea
  2. Just looking at time on ground, Brayshaw had 66 minutes and Oliver 77, between those 2 alone we were a player down all day. Have to wonder what the club was thinking with Brayshaw clearly was underdone
  3. Hogan did his ankle in the first, wouldn't be surprised if he didn't play next week
  4. Agree his decision making could be better at times but he seems to be the only one trying to do something at times, the bigger issue are the players not even there to give options.
  5. Dunno why so many are having a go at lumumber, he was one of the few good players we had today. One of the only ones to create run through the middle. Our issue was to many passages in the mid, Viney and Oliver been the prime offenders
  6. If watts continues to play deeper like he did on the weekend then our fwd line is too tall, it only started functioning once pedersen went back. So it comes down to Pedersen v Frost v Dunn now that Oscar is out. As a fwd and backup ruck I think Pedersen has Frost covered. As a back I think Dunn is the clear choice
  7. Dunn for most of his career has been a battler in a poor side, now with age and the list improving he is no longer in the best 22. Honestly he only had parts of 2013 all of 14 and parts of 15 where this wasn't the case
  8. For what it is worth, I heard from a person familiar with this type of injury, that the issue now for Jack now won't be running but kicking. As in there is a fair chance or re injury once he starts kicking again.
  9. We only have a half dozen who are good enough right now Jones, Vince, Viney, Hogan, Garlett, and McDonald , the rest are just speculation
  10. Just a few points. Not sure why people are bagging Grimes for tonight's game, he was actually one of our better players. Watts on the other hand even with 2 goals was very average, he was playing the extra man back for part of the night and added nothing, he may as well not even been on the field for all he added at times. I don't understand our fwd setup, the players in the 50 before one ball up were hogan, dawes, frost and watts. To me this feels too tall and makes it easy for the opposition to run the ball out if we don't mark it. I'd like to see one less tall and and extra mid who could rotate through the middle. Maybe put frost back drop garland and bring the next best small fwd / mid in ie jkh or kent. Vince if fit would be ideal
  11. B Jetta Frost Dunn HB Lumumba. T.Mac Howe C Cross N.Jones Viney HF Gawn Dawes Watts F Kent Hogan Mitchie Foll. Jamar Vince Tyson Bench Grimes, Vandenberg Newton, Sub Bail But as Dawes Is suspended then [Pedersen] Salem is a hard one in that he needs to get more of the ball once he can do that I'd pick him every week, I also think Garland is really struggling and needs some time in the 2nds. Garlett also hasn't done enough but he has a few weeks to change my mind as we know what he can do. Not sure why so many have Cross on the bench behind the likes of Newton, Vandenberg and others I think people forget that he was one of the main reasons were so competitive in the first half of last season, once he got injured we went down hill fast.
