In terms of Garland, I completely agree with you 100% and have done for years!

As far as i know Garland is a free agent at thw wnd of the year..correct me if i am wrong but..it would seem that most players who havent resingned by this time of the year tend to be moving clubs..i will be interested to see which clubs attract him...

Its probably the lack of posters knowledge of his is in and out if contract...

And if the result is bad it will be on Oauls head, because if we can beat geelong down there we can definately beat West coast or any team for that matter at TIO...

I would prefer to loose to WC with the same team that beat geelong than to make some changes, still loose and afterwards say we should of stuck with the winning formula...

lets say we bring the same intensity as we did against geelong and they come back from the bye flat and n out of touch, we just need to make minimal changes try to limit their strenghts being ruck and forward line and try to exploit their weekness' being their backline. Its a simple game lets keep it simple like we did last week.

We land dangerfield and we make finals easily next year...so why would anyone be against that idea...

We need consistency from BV 3 weeks of B.O.G compared to 5 weeks of 25 disp etc ..i prefer the latter...

Just say..two players have a head collision...one player is concussed and misses the next week with concussion...should we suspend the other player for not watching where he was going and not avoiding the contact...point is, it is a contact sport...i dont really want to bring up Phil Hughes, but should we suspend the bowler for choosing to bowl a bouncer, which is a completely normal part of the game?

Yes..but if you are driving in a car race and kill another racer..it is a completely differnt thing to driving through a red light killing someone..this is being penalised for tackling which kids are brought up practicing, it is a massive part of the game and players should not be discouraged from doing it.

Playing tall forwards may expose their backline we will still have the smalls of Garlett and ANB or JKH on the ground.

Yeah ok so putting Howe as a loose defender leaves us exposed to the Oxley situation again, Im still not against putting Howe down back...although Mcdonald will take Kennedy, Dunn will take Lecras and Garland will take Darling..

Yea it is good to protect the player..but imagine if the tackler was Viney...had the ball pinned to Grays stomach in a hard tackle, yet gets the same penalty as a Leqis or Hodge against North Melb for dirty high hits..hardly fair.

Pretty rare for us to have the whole ground covered in the team, defender, ruckman, midfield and forward..they all deserved some recognition and well deserved. Im over the moon for Gawn, he is like a Toumpas for me, someone who i really want to make it.
