  1. I think if Tmac goes down like he did last year we will have a bigger problem!
  2. 1 goal. 9 disposals 5 marks Obvioisly had a quiet game today, not through a lack of effort but just didnt bounce his way today, expecting a big game next week against lesser oponents.
  3. I would play Spencer against Longer...Gawn,VDB out Tyson, Spencer in.
  4. the success of VDB and Brayshaw who base their game around tackling repeated efforts to get the contested ball..these are the first things to cross off the checklist...players that have hardness at the contest...Fyfe,Dangermouse,Selwood,Cotchin all have that attack on the ball and hardness
  5. From seeing how much of an impact Brayshaw has had this year...im really excited to see how Petracca goes next year..he is a massive boy and can really play football. The future is bright for the red and blue.
  6. From what i have seen of Schache he will go top in the top 3 Brisbane, St Kilda, GC and Carlton all need a big forward. We need a complete midfielder who accumulates lots of the ball, has a big body tackles hard and loves the contested situation, ideally a mixture of Brayshaw and Bontempelli...any of them in the mix??
  7. Adam Goodes says he doesn't really care about being booed, but it affects his family, if he plays against Carlton next time he will get booed even louder than usual because of his little dance last night and he only has himself to blame.Look at how Luke Hodge was booed against North Melbourne after elbowing their captain.....it's not that complicated like some on here make it out to be.
  8. This game might suit Jesse Hogan if we can get the ball inside our 50 enough times, more fast paced and he might find himself 1 on 1 on more occasions than other weeks, we can only hope so.
  9. Ok Moony, he is a great of the game, but that doesn't give him a free pass to be aggressive and inconsiderate to opposition supporters.
  10. I have so many indigenous friends, this has noting to do with him being indigenous....Here's the kicker...If Jack Watts acted like Adam Goodes does then we would all be on his case.
  11. The big deal is, that it being indigeonous round is just an excuse for him to act like a wan ker...
  12. We hear about reports of racist comments often, why does he have to be the hero to humiliate a 13 year old girl and make an example out of her, do we see any other indigenous players doing this or doing quite aggressive native dances towards opposition spectators... BLEND IN GOODES - ITS NOT HARD
  13. So are the thousands booing him.
  14. Yeh he would be a club great... It's a bit like Carey, great player...but... Goodes will be remembered the same way, something a bit dodgy about him...and completely different type of club great compared to a Neitz, Robert Harvey, Simon Goodwin type.
  15. Who cares what he said in his interview....it's what he did on the ground....it was un-necessary, there are other ways to celebrate indigenous round than to perform an aggressive dance toward Carlton supporters , if you watch it again they were booing him as he did it ( which I think is great ) ...blend in Goodesy and everyone will leave you alone!! Surely that's not the way indigenous players want to be represented?
  16. let's be honest...he wouldn't ...! I don't care if we never won another game, I would hate for Gooded to be in the red and blue ...!!!
  17. One would hope his reason for doing it was true....to represent some young indigenous girls, because that would be one hell of a lie if it wasn't true.... I am not a fan of Goodes and I never will be Why can't he just try to blend in....we don't see any other indigenous players celebrating like he did and an Australian of the year must be smart enough to realise an aggressive celebration like that would be controversial... Blend in Adam and you won't get booed... Ask yourself this question, if he did that celebration to the Melbourne cheer squad behind the goals would we be more upset about it..??
  18. He's coming from a long way back and it will be hard for him to get back into the midfield with Petracca returning aswell...
  19. This game won't be as tightly contested compared to last week, which really suited Riley. This will be more of an outsiders game, suprised about Newton.
  20. . M. Jones had 24 or so disposals against Port in Alice Springs last year and bail had 20 odd with a couple of goals.....Viney and Jetta were in our best aswell....Let's hope they realise that their position in the team isn't safe and they play the games of their lives. Dees by 10
