You do realise that there is more to an afl player than just their level of kicking...look at the rest of his game..look and think broader.

Matt Crouch was in Adelaide's best last night surely, Adelaide won that game in the midfield and he was a massive part of that, so if your saying Matheison is another Matt Crouch then we should be considering him pretty hard, clearly a Matt Crouch isn't the ideal type of mid that we want, obviously that type is a Dangerfield ( break the lines, explosive, goal kicking midfielder, his possession winner, hard contested midfielder ) but their doesn't seem to be any of them in the draft.

I'm a big fan, on what little I have seen, would love for us to take him with our pick. I hope the recruiters are looking closely at this guy.

And one massive statistic that hardly gets mentioned is that we average the lowest amount of inside 50's in the competition...therefor making it even harder for our forwards to kick goals...if we average 53 inside 50's instead of 43 inside 50's ...one would think hogan would have 15% more goals to his name ,,possibly around 37...

I have a video of the 1994 season...some brilliant highlights i used to watch it growing up as a kid , was shattered when Jako went out, but we had Shwartz, Neitz and Lyon to watch after he went down ..some great champions.

Fair bit of head scratching going on as to why it hasnt worked having him up forward..as our midfield develops i would like to see him up forward because with his set shot he should be able to kick a bag of goals.

I would prefer my daughter to run out with Viney or Brayshaw TBH

We drafted Watts as the big forward we needed..6 years down the track and 6 years of development and what do we have....a player who isn any much better than one of our first year players in Brayshaw, Vandenberg and Hogan. He should be in his prime by now.

Imagine having Haile Gebrselassi at the club to teach our guys how to run...

Watts has arguably the best set shot for goal in the competitio ...yet we play him as a midfielder bloody ridiculous to me...we need him to put of 5kg of muscle and work on his strut.

Lets be honest we dont move the ball forwards or enough with any fluency...watch how Hawthorn move the ball around the ground and forwards with fluency it makes it so much easier for the forwards..it again comes down to the game plan. Havinf a contest outside our 50 and a mid just throwing the ball on the boot Magnet style is not easy for the forwards...we should have Watts, Howe, Garlett, Hogan and JkH as our forward line .

Is roos going down the road of playing guys like harmes and stretch ahead of Bail and Jones....this is honerable but it has probably cost us a win or two...

I hate the game plan, low scoring indirect ...yeah yeah we are getting the defensive side fixed up first..but we cant even get the ball inside our attacking 50 more than 45 times...look at what Beveridge and Richardson have done with their teams...attacking attractive football which is producing results....

Its about in field success....Roos and Jackson have said it a number of times and so far it hasnt happened...hence why so far it hasnt really worked. 4 wins and then probably 6 wins in two years is not a big improvemnet...

You obviously didnt watch the vision of him mic'd up against the tigers i think it was...you should watch it if you can find it somewhere.

So far it seems the two players who love the contested footy are Tucker and Matheison.

Everyone knows why all of our forwards struggled yesterday its because of our midfield and crap defensive game plan....seriously hope that goodwin goes his own way and learns from the mistakes being made now. Where is the run that Bailey brought that the fans loved.
