  1. Ha gold, as an ex loved it, he would have been one of those who shot himself in the foot
  2. I was being sarcastic Billy, the main gist of the posts on here was the bemoaning of Bail's abilities, in comparison to every other AFL player who had ever played the game
  3. Wouldn't think it was, how would they make money? I haven't been there since the 80's looking forward to going
  4. Tommy can actually have a laugh at himself, told me the brain sometimes gets ahead of the foot and vice versa, trying to train them to work together
  5. I've had 39 on my jumper since I met and talked to Nev Jetta at an open day at Casey the year he was drafted, and walked away super impressed by the bloke, not my idol but a decent human being who gives it everything he has got during a game, I have had a wonderful ride, and have never even considered changing numbers Anybody can be a tough guy behind a keyboard, wander down to Whitten on Sunday and tell Roh he is playing at his level, in your opinion of course
  6. No we don't that's the break even figure
  7. Yes you are right, but tis time I asked because I was given a cliché, word was ANB was 'supposed' to go in top 25 along with Oscar himself, club was genuinely surprised both were still there but went with ANB first and the way the draft was unfolding, were confident Osc would still be there at 53, as an aside Tommy Mc told me best he was hoping for at draft time was rookie spot, ah the draft it is a mysterious thing
  8. Tommy Mc the shy retiring type...I sent him a congratulatory tweet a day or two ago about him being in the top ten and he favourited it......can't help but like the guy
  9. Still not bad we will have 39 players from the squad in action this weekend, and guys being given time to return from injury properly and develop properly
  10. I know you have some insider knowledge, but believe coz he has had so many foot and ankle issues, gets them scanned on regular basis to ensure all is well
  11. Gee my prediction was right!!!!!........ Viv has earnt his game
  12. Similar to the info I got, we were looking at Oscar Mc at ANB's pick , but couldn't believe he was still there and grabbed him
  13. One other thing I forgot, they were giving all the players coming off a track something to eat, managed to get Harmesy to show me, it is a paleo bar, players seem to like it, called a 'naked choc' or something like that if anyone into the diet is interested
  14. Wait till you see him and Stretch work together on a footy field Nash, a thing of beauty, seen it a couple of times already at training As I have stated before when you speak to the players these days, they can't speak highly enough of the fitness.staff and medicos
  15. Dawes has always taken at least two or three games to get his touch back, when he has an injury interrupted period it makes his game stop and start, he has now had two games back, yesterday at training he looked really sharp, hopefully this Friday he will be on all cylinders, at least he has still been crashing and bashing
  16. Why?....he didn't have a problem at all
  17. Sorry precious, but you did start it with your rather snide commentary about why I didn't notice it, which I admitted I didn't, each to their own, if you post it, you will get it back Told you before don't read it, I was trying to ascertain when this occurred, as I hadn't seen it, just wanted to confirm, would have thought it strange for Dawes to be competing in the ruck with all knees and elbows with stitches in his face, but obvioulsy he did
  18. Just a bit of humour Cards referencing RM, I said early on Garland took himself out of the Leadership Group so he could concentrate on getting back to where he was 2 years ago, think he is nearly there
  19. Yes why? He was fine, did the whole session, well at least I think it was him in 20 in one of the photos I took
  20. Oh that's ok, as long as you had time to check your watch, I must have missed it...the guns are passé now, moved on from that......that was pre season....the ruck division did their work with Stafford towards the end of the session, sans Dawes
  21. Dawes did not work with the ruck group when it was separated and with Stafford, he had stitches in his face, so they were trying to avoid contact, the ruck group consisted of Jamar, King, Gawn, Spencer and Fitzy at the start, if he was with the rucks on some other occasion then I must have missed it coz I was photographing something else They seemed to be, he wasn't doing the usual hop step and jump, maybe trying to change it Garlett always works on his goal kicking I don't know what the fuss is about they have 11 goals between them in 3 games, if they stick to it we will have 2 guys with 40 goals each minimum, I want the scoring spread across the board, I am sure Roos does as well
  22. Note the 'Casey' guys are all upbeat, interesting what two good wins do for morale, they are already looking at knocking over Footscray at the weekend
  23. On who comes in, no idea, as noted Bail and Pedersen did a very short drill at the end with the forwards from last game, but as I noted Jayden Hunt did the same with the backs, me I would prefer Michie in with Dawes/Watts/Dunn/Hogan pinch hitting in the ruck, it is only Ben Griffiths, not exactly a mature back up ruckman If Richmond did not have someone watching I would be very surprised, I made a joke that both clubs had people next to each other with binoculars on Richmond station platform, just facing different directions On the injury front, we have finally fixed Jayden Hunt, a week or two away from actually playing a game, and ANB pulled up really well after his first hit out
  24. Can we not turn the training thread into the usual whinge fest please Jayden Hunt trained with the backs when they split up, and I can't see him getting a gig on Friday, Pedersen and Bail could have been for the benefit of any Richmond watchers, give them something to think about Dawes went nowhere near the ruck training, I was taking photographs of it, Max King slipped as he jumped in one drill and nearly killed Greg Stafford (pic will be on Twitter) Had a laugh with Viv Michie, told him to bang on the door harder Bernie Vince enjoyed all the talk about his tagging job, looking forward to this week Nathan Jones was very vocal at training today, in one drill told anyone without earshot "you have to [censored] tell him" The drills were the usual ball movement with more or less defenders Jesse Hogan spent 20 minutes at the end with McPherson goalkicking Roos got the group together at one point and did a lot of pointing and talking, then handed over to McCartney who did the same, then back to Roos, good to see Any questiions feell free, pics oo Demonpk Twitter soon
