  1. I didn't bother asking because I doubt I would have even got close to real reason
  2. Why I specifically asked him, think he got a bit of a word from medical staff after the game, he is fine, did ok in the test before training, should be ok, said he didn't want Bennell kicking goals if he was off the ground
  3. Here is another bit for those that like 'fluff' and maybe the new mindset Myself and another watcher saw Watts before the training started, asked whether that was his best game, said if he hadn't fluffed a couple of kicks it would have been an ok game, but certainly not his best
  4. Kent was Kent at training, made no comment on the week for Shaw, said he was fine, nice two stitches under his eye
  5. Wasn't me that said it, it was Roos, watch his presser
  6. Think the big scar he has on his face had something to do with his performance, wore Gawny's hip early on, he is fine, he has always put the club/team first. He is like the rest who didn't get picked, you get up and running for Casey and demand to get picked McKenzie is setting the example in this, again another one who never gives less than 100% for the club, no matter where he plays
  7. If there is a specific drill where the groups break into where they are going to play, I post that, they didn't the groups were mixed, during all the drills Already covered Dawes and Vince, and we know where they play I don't know how you can expand on ball movement and stoppages, it becomes waffle
  8. In Roos presser this morning, was talking about managing Brayshaw, my opinion Brayshaw and Toumpas for Dawes and Vince with JKH as the sub
  9. I'm not complaining, we had nearly 40 players out there again today, all fit, I spoke to Jack Grimes, he said the guys who missed out are all determined to get back in, there is no sulking On another point, think the days of Fitzy the forward are over, spoke to a few of the 'Casey' players from the weekend, he had another solid game in defence, spoke to the man himself and he is feeling more and more comfortable back there.
  10. After being at the G on Saturday and enjoying it, took footy free couple of days No shows today, Trengove, Petracca, Hunt and Nathan Jones Light duties Viney, Watts, Howe, Tom McDonald, no major issues, just management and Jetta (who had a bit of issue with concussion after the game) Ball movement and stoppages still the focus Spoke to quite a few of the players, as expected all up and about but there is a steely resolve to back up at the weekend Complimented Jeff Garlett on his game, got the usual "just playing my role", asked about the Watts tap back, said there was no call, just two players playing on instinct, said he enjoyed his time in the midfield Chris Salem said it was a very good weekend, said his kick for goal couldn't have come of his foot any better (Arsenal beat Liverpool 4-1) Asked Aaron Vandenberg how easy AFL was, said his body said it wasn't Chris Dawes is looking like a caged bear, if he gets the run, would not like to be first GWS defender who gets in his way Bernie Vince got through whole Casey game unscathed and is cherry ripe, I asked Should make Thursday's training interesting Pics will be on Twitter Demonpk Any questions feel free
  11. Anyway Dr Phil John, now you have analysed my grasp of the vernacular, I said no opinion is wrong and then said Brayshaw could prove my opinion wrong, bit too left field for you then?, ah well. I was a bit bored with all the spouting about Brayshaw, I just hope he comes out and plays well, god help him if he doesn't, as we speak, along with Hogan, they are busy polishing their haloes as the latest saviours of this footy club I don't think he has done enough to warrant a spot, the footy department disagrees and they have the final say, so will be cheering for him tomorrow, ready to see my opinion proved incorrect
  12. I would be surprised if Braysahw even rotates through the midfield, if he is the sub, they will sit him in the forward line
  13. It was meant to be funny, there is a lack of understanding of humour on here though Fine posting, all about other posters, and a bit of denigration thrown in, perfect Demonland post No but I am entitled to my opinion, which is Kent is not in very good form from what I have observed, couldn't get near the ball last weekend, but Ross and match committee have made their decision, so I am cool with it, Brayshaw included
  14. You didn't answer my question, have you seen Brayshaw live, if not what are you basing your opinion on that he will have a greater impact than Grimes? And I would have Matt Jones on the bench with Vandenberg in the forward line instead of Kent
  15. Oh dear, Carlton lost one of their better players in the first few minutes and had to give a lot of game time to a first gamer, their structures got thrown out, but they hung in, Richmond were not much better. Once their forward line gets used to playing together the better, number of times Henderson and Jones ran to same spot, and they need a decent crumber I wish I had a dollar for every young midfielder who made a big impact in their first game - Gysberts anybody? I'd be more concerned with the games of Cotchin, Martin, Gibbs, Murphy if I coached either team
  16. You are not speaking for everybody, have you seen Brayshaw live in any form of the game?
  17. Nobody is wrong Wiseblood, because it is their opinion, I backed up my opinion, still do, hoping Brayshaw proves me totally and completely wrong.......
  18. No C&B is like me, I will back Roos, but personally don't think Brayshaw is ready, hopefully he will get a run as sub, I just hope he doesn't produce a couple of howlers which will leave him open for the Watts/Toumpas treatment on here I wouldn't have picked Kent either on what I have seen in the last couple of weeks at training and in games, I don't think his form is that good, hopefully he will prove me wrong
  19. That's what it looked like yesterday as well, so should be it
  20. I don't see why Roos would bother naming Howe if he was not going to play, he is not into those type of games
  21. Yes, but I was wrong which I am willing to admit, personally I would not have picked Kent, Brayshaw, but I am not the coach.. We will see posters orgasming at the thought of all new talent on display, and will turn on them just as quickly if they don't perform and there is a bad loss....the story of Demonland
  22. Bold call on Brayshaw for mine, but if Roos thinks he is ready that will do me, after watching all pre season the rest I am cool with, Howe will be fine, outstanding at training again today
  23. I don't know whether it is a good one, but the players call him "Richie' and of course Vanders
  24. In his book "So Anyway", he is not a fan of the modern comedian(s), neither am I, the hype that surrounds Wil Anderson, Peter Hellier Dave Hughes etc astounds me,, about the only 2 I can live with are Adam Hills and Jimoein
  25. As it is confirmed, defensive forward on Malceski?
