  1. Anyway Ladies and Gents that's me until tomorrow, will answer any other questions then, fear not for Jack Viney, we also need 22 playing at their very best to get near Adelaide in the form they are in
  2. Yes I agree I thought Fibular was Latin for not telling the truth
  3. I thought Michie would be the next cab of the rank, but if they want to tag Dangerfield maybe McKenzie
  4. I was lucky to grow up in Liverpool in the 60's and go to a progressive Grammer School with teachers who wanted to teach iif you get my meaning, and an uncle who was in the Merchant Navy and brought wonderful films and music back with him, so therefore my tastes are wide ranging, in music from early Baroque through to some Death Metal and films from Buster Keaton to Manga
  5. Yes Howe was ok, looked a bit more like his old self today, very sharp Nev is fine, spoke to him afterwards, they take head knocks seriously now, enjoyed the joke with the Cowboys helmet, but being Nev, spotted me with the camera on his way around and took helmet off so it didn't appear on Twitter, he has to take the concussion test each day, got through training fine....I told him to stop painting the target on his forehead before a game
  6. Going off topic there chap and nailing your colours to the mast, any opinion of Zeffirelli or Polanski, two of my faves
  7. Jones was going full tilt at the end, I asked him as he walked off just for the sake of it, he said he was fine, Vince did 3/4 of the drills, Watts also didn't do everything, but said he was ok,
  8. Nah, Brayshaw was one of the best today, except at the end when he took Jonesy on in a goal kicking comp again, must be slightly masochistic, he must also be doing some serious weights, his body shape is changing every time I see him
  9. I don't even bother asking why during the season, because I will never get the truth
  10. They are never down, there are too many upbeat characters now, the drills were very good today, just the occasional [censored] up but that happens in games as well, another solid two hour session
  11. Actually you are right, couldn't figure out who was missing, thanks, no he didn't, old age, need the prompting Only fluff chap, with Dean Kent, Nev and Fitzy,..and of course Salem about the soccer...... Nathan Jones had his game face on
  12. Fine moring this morning Everybody on the track except Hunt, Petracca, Trengove Lots of stoppage drills with more and less defenders again Lots of ball movement drills again, with more and less defenders Match simulation, not split into AFL or Casey, just three teams McCartney was still working with Max King ad Max Gawn when everybody else had left, including me Amusing bit at the start, Shannon Byrnes produced a Dallas Cowboys footy helmet for Nev Jetta to wear after three belts to the head in consecutive weeks, wore it on warm up lap until he spotted the cameras Pics on Twitter Demonpk Any questions feel free
  13. Oh dear, drag yourself into the 21st century please, they have a team at the club and the coaches who 'cut' the vision, they don't just watch a replay of the tv, there are other cameras at the game, so the midfield would watch stoppages etc, defence forward setups etc...they have also been to a couple of live games, and injured players ie Petracca and Trengove get sent to scout games as well, they do well and truly have it covered......I must say when I was working I liked nothing more than dragging out a database and spreadsheet at the weekend
  14. Still at school are we? Great input to the topic No it's not, will give you the week after Gold Coast game, Sunday - club recovery, Monday - club meetings/craft training, Tuesday - club training, weights meetings, Wedndsday - day off, Thrusday club - training, weights, Friday club - pre flight to Canberra training in Canberra, Satuday - game, Sunday - club recovery
  15. No they don't, not to defend them, but in season, they get one day off a week, average day starts at 8am and finishes at 5pm, in their contracts they also agree to do various sponsor/clinics/school visits etc etc some after the end of the working day. As of for the vision to watch, I would say talking to them they spend a whole working day in total watching vision
  16. Footy watchers I would count, Grimes, Viney, Garland, McKenzie...just by speaking to them
  17. Sorry no training, so having a footy free break for a couple of days, I am not surprised Roos said it, of the squad I would say we only have about half a dozen at the most who can't get enough footy, the rest will watch or do everything except watch the footy. Surfing, basketball, golf, soccer and a couple of computer games (FIFA soccer) seem to be the go
  18. If Jones was injured, he did a very good job of hiding it at training on Thursday, no medical or physio staff anywhere near him during the whole session, which he did. These days they have to report injury, no matter how trivial, doubt whether Roos would have played him with a significant injury
  19. We have already had one of these three word games in the pre season Whole Team 1st half - great team effort 2nd half - stayed in sheds
  20. Just got home from a night out, Grimes back in, thought he was finished, Toumpas (Ollie who?), even a suggestion for Bail, I justed neede Matt Jones to make my night....hilarious, thank you for the entertainment with my cocoa, especially Picket for his contradictory post Mumford smashed Jamar in the second half and we didn't have a good second ruck to take a bit of the strain, and a young fast elite to be midfield fed off him and tore us a new one Haven't seen Roos' presser yet, but we already know he is not one for dropping players for one poor (half) game, if that was the case Nathan Jones and Tyson would be the first cabs off the rank
  21. 1. you are not the captain - so it is second hand 2. Then you must know it effects every person it touches differently, and they react differently 3. From what I can gather from the depth of feeling in some of the posts Mitch Clark a, organised 9/11 b. raped members of posters families c, voted for Clive Palmer in the last election etc etc He left the club, we got a good deal in Lumumba from the trade, move on, I actually have more concern for the psyche of the populace in general if some of the posts in this topic are a representation
  22. We are all going on second hand information, inflamed by the biggest [censored] in footy (next to Billy Brownless) Unless you have actually suffered from some sort of depression, NFI how it effects somebody, I find it continually pathetic that some posters on here treat Mitch Clark like he has raped their mother, move on It is a new season we have 40 odd players who want to play for Melbourne now
  23. Here is my take on it, particularly the Mitch Clark response, he wants to just play footy, probably didn't expect to get sledged re the depression but did, and let it pass Unfortunately it has now come up again. and the [censored] Newman inflamed the situation Me, haven't watched the Footy Show for about 5 years now, NITV - Marngrook Footy Show - great show last night Francis Burke, Kevin Bartlett (being KB), Tyson Goldsack and Flash Davey on the panel alongside Gilbert McAdam
  24. They have a budget though chap, for us to go forward PJ had to slash and burn, as we hopefully grow on the field, so will the club off it Anybody willing to offer their services for nix would always be looked at This is one of the Groundhog day issues, see a whinge about the website every year
