Yes and Salem's skills are sublime. He was walking along between drills and kicked the ball with heavy back spin, about 20m, it reared back quickly and acutely after hitting the turf and landed neatly in his hands. Without a beat being missed, he casually nailed someone, with a laces out (must have been Trac)pass that required extraordinary reflexes to pick up its speed and Mark. Always working on the craftsmanship of the game.

Trac and Vanders were both looking clean and strong with their disposal. They are going to be very good to watch this year. I think I overheard Vanders giving some cheek "Trac! Would you prefer laces in or out?" I wasn't there long, but, I also noticed the focus was on decision making and skills under pressure. Feedback being shot out in retrospect by the coaches ( as an aside, loved seeing Todd kicking balls back to Jack after a goal kicking drill finished). Stretch junior was looking pretty sharp in the skills sessions. Prompting, I think it was Dunn, to jokingly call out "skills!..and he knows it!" He is going to look pretty smart streaming in off the members like his old man. Harmes is going to be interesting. He keeps making you look. From what I saw; very few mistakes, great intensity, a little unpredictability and a sense he is not going to give up his place easily. Also loved watching Hogan practice his leading and marking out in front with the assistants. I get the sense that what he seeks is seeking him. Thanks Georgiou, spot on with your report! I hope you don't mind I used your piece to bounce off. Will pop in anything else I remember as others report or as I feel the need to exaggerate the potent potential that is the future of the MFC.

Thank you old Dee! I missed this and having grown up in Ky, loved hearing from Gus Underwood, in particular. Ky was part of the melbourne recruiting zone, back in the day, although gaining supporter traction wasn't easy with the club colours being black and red. Some great champions for the Dee's out of that town. Thanks for the reminder and yes, good interview.

Seemed pretty strong in the sprints. Noticed Oliver tweak his Achilles, not badly, and made his way over to the medics. I'm sure it was nothing major though.

Dropped in for 20minutes on my way home. Any other posters there to flesh out the session? I walked in on the end of an end to end drill that culminated in 'Pederson' out marking Hogan. He looked displeased, the drill finished and he joking jogged over and tagged Track, implying that he wanted him on his team next run. Drill over running on. Newbies looking a little lost, having shoots at goal. Weiderman looks like he'll be a second year prospect. Not enough size to him to compete with the monsters. I think it was Hulett who was with him and King (newbie). Hulett seem ready physically, mentally and was slotting them soundly. He won't win second prize in a beauty contest but, looks to be a pretty good contested mark. Milky seems to be fitting I well, nice kick and vision. Didn't see enough of Kennedy, but, looks the part. Everything Track touches the ball, I notice a lot of glances over the shoulder by team mates. Was in the non contact vest, but, the boys were constantly calling him out and sliding one his way for a shot on goal. Love seeing Gawn and Kent develop such s good bond. Look forward to seeing that blossom this season. Had to run to a school performance that just finished! Torture. Hope someone else has a little more insight.

Kennedy looked good. Getting used to everyone's name and while skills seemed good, knowing where to look seemed to take a little more concentration. Think it will all click pretty quickly.

My Guess, for what it's worth, are Kennedy and Bennell. That would make me content. In fact, any of those guys from up nor would do. Ox was sounding smug about us nailing some from up north the other day. I'd like to be wearing a smile like Roosey too. Will test my patients.
