After being told several times to improve his professionalism last year he turned up to pre season training this year overweight and unfit, his form this year has been well below the expectations of a player on his money and of his talent and i've also heard and i am sure others will confirm that he's not well liked within the group. He's not the sort of influence we want anywhere near our talented young group, i think recruiting him could be an awful decision.

I think he's talented, but he needs to find another level if he wants to cement his spot in the AFL team, he was very good early in the year so would need to hold that form consistently to have any chance.

I'll admit i played Junior football with Tom and attitude is an issue, he's a cocky guy who hasn't appreciated just how hard you have to work, thought it would just happen for him and he doesn't need help. I believe he has the ability to make it at AFL level, but will need a strong club with strong leadership to do so.

and both are relatively unproven still, both have shown patches of good form, but also some very poor games, Jack is a proven performer coming into the prime of his career.

So an elite key forward isn't worth one of our young mids? people are dismissing this only because it's Jack that i suggested, if it were someone like Peter Wright or Rory Lobb would that be a different story?
