  1. And if you read my post you’d understand that was not my implication. Simply that it would be a deal involving those picks. And that we were going to ask the question. If you’re going to attack someone’s posts it’s best to know what you’re talking about.
  2. He seems a lot like billy stretch. He’s okay on the inside and outside but not really good enough to lock down a spot as either.
  3. An update on the lever deal. The crows won’t budge on the two first round picks deal so the club will be having a meeting with Richmond to discuss an exchange involving their two late first round picks and our pick 10. The crows have indicated that those two picks would satisfy the deal if the tigers are willing to trade them. Despite earlier confusion the watts race is still on with Geelong and port slightly leading Sydney and interestingly his chances of staying with us slightly better than they were. Don’t rule that out. We have told the cats pick 20 or no deal if he chooses them. Freo want to look after balic so pick 64 is the best pick we’d have to give up to secure him. Dean kent has been shopped around but has gained very little interest at this early stage.
  4. Sounds like jack will take toumps spot as the token Melbourne reject on ports list
  5. Balic has talent. But has always had off field concerns. I believe this is why he slid in the draft. If he can sort out his off field stuff I think he’s got the talent to play a role in our side
  6. Menzel is a small forward who found himself behind some good small forward at the crows. He showed at the blues that he’s got talent so I wouldn’t be surprised if a team gives him a lifeline
  7. Crows knew lever was going about 6 weeks ago and they knew he was definitely coming to Melbourne about 12 days ago so the best and fairest situation looks even worse on their part. Melbourne and the crows have been chatting about this deal for a while. It will probably take most of the trade period but it’ll get done
  8. My info is the club is very confident the crows will accept our current offer. Our current offer is NOT pick # 10 & 27 it is pick #10 and a 2018 second round pick. The club is very much hoping to sell the crows on that deal, and use the potential watts deal combine with #27 to gain another first round pick.
  9. This is exactly the sort of game we get ahead of ourselves in. Less than a goal either way but unfortunately I think north might get up. Trengove needs a big day or his afl dream is likely over
  10. Don't underestimate port this will be close, less than 10 points either way. They have some serious outside speed that will cut us open if our pressure and contest isn't on point. Watts and Salem are huge inclusions because their kicking will make stopping our forward line a bit task for an undersized power backline. I think we have more depth in the middle and as such I'm backing us if the game is an arm wrestle but port are very capable of kicking a burst of goals if we slip up. I think we will be working very hard to make transitioning as difficult as possible through pressure and numbers, and try and score off turn over. Ryder vs gawn will be an interesting battle that I suspect will be a bit of an arm wrestle. I expect gawn to spend time drifting forward and trying to make Ryder accountable. Despite losing a couple of games I think we've played quite well without our injuries and still getting into those good winning positions late in games. I think today will be no different i do think if one team is going to smash the other I feel it's more likely we get right on top of them. I can't see them dominating us the way I think we can dominate them. Dees by 4 points
  11. I reckon he said something like " why don't you dive again" and clarry said " I'll give you something to dive about if you don't shut your mouth"

  13. The Carlton supporter absolutely shat himself whan clarry turned around, with a lid like that he should have asked Clayton to give him one, might have improved it a bit
  14. If trading Gus gave us the ability to get someone like Steven May or Jake Lever to the club we'd have to look at the option, I love Gus as a player and i wouldn't even consider trading him unless it meant getting a ready to go A grade player in return.
  15. Wish we had players who could lift and get us over the lines in close games, the help they get from umpires would also help
  16. Yeah i agree, he's a hard one because i am not sure he can really play any role besides the third tall/ruck and given we have had the injuries we have had and he still hasn't played i don't think he's going to get much of a look in
  17. Perhaps he'd be worth a shot in the backline?
  18. Not familiar with Spod's, are they good??
  19. My apologies Nash, i thought it was quite funny.
  20. Thinking of having roast Pedersons with my dinner, thoughts?
  21. Joel Selwood is getting boo'd, clearly the crowd is racist.
  22. WHAT THE [censored] IS THIS DISGUSTING CREATURE!?!?!?! KILL IT WITH FIRE
  23. You're entitled to your opinion, i just think it's wrong, Pederson has been a good clubman but his time at AFL level is just about done, better of playing the kids who aren't potatoes
