  1. I think our record by round 1 was 50k… might be pushing it this year but never know. They usually do their members drive telethon thing, haven’t heard of that being done yet.
  2. Didn’t realise it had already been 4 weeks… time flies.
  3. 6-8 for Tholstrup is good. When it came out they said 10-12 weeks
  4. Plus Coniglio could go down at any moment. Without Green their midfield isn’t that deep, Callaghan, Kelly, Coniglio and then who? Bedford maybe
  5. I’m personally not as sold on the Giants being top 4 like most experts and expect them to finish somewhere in the 5-10 range. Given their horror injury issues/self inflicted suspensions to start the season they could be behind the eight ball 4-5 rounds in. I could be completely wrong on this, just feel they lost quite a bit of depth of the off season in Perryman, Peatling and Cumming which could hurt them,
  6. Well he didn’t please me when he left
  7. Well the original post was a guess so was just updating it based on information that has come through from other posters or radio interviews. Don’t read it if you don’t want? For example, Alan Richardson said on a radio interview they expect McVee back round 2 or 3 and Ghostwriter mentioned Hore said he expects to miss 3-4 weeks from memory.
  8. Tholstrup will be out until mid season I think... unless he is tracking ahead of schedule. My best guess is the full list as follows: Marty Hore (broken hand) — 3-4 weeks Luke Kentfield (pneumonia) — TBC Shane McAdam (achilles) — 2026 Judd McVee (hamstring) — Round 2 or 3 Jake Melksham (hamstring) — pre-season/early 2025 Andy Moniz-Wakefield (ACL) — 2026 Kysaiah Pickett (suspension) — round four Koltyn Tholstrup - 8-10 weeks
  9. I think the latest is: Fullarton - played for Casey I believe McVee - Expected back round 3 JVR - TBC but supposedly ok for round 1 Spargo - played a half for Casey
  10. No. It's a MFCSS style prediction. The only official statement is he will be fine for round 1.... but we know how that went for Bont and Jagga
  11. 100% agree. JVR & Turner as KPFs with another as the ruck forward is fine for key positions. We need elite small/mediums with good skills. Looks at the Lions - Cameron, Rayner, Bailey, Lohman, Ah Chee... Our list is sort of Fritsch, Pickett, Chandler, Sparrow (maybe). We are miles off them for that position. The one we do need back is Tholstrup, who I think can add to this.
  12. If he was talking about the practice match Fritsch didn't play....
  13. I think it was due to the wind... probably felt he had a better chance at a snap rather than drop punt
  14. He only played one of the games…. So one quiet pre season game
  15. Glad to see there is some semblance of integrity in the AFL…
  16. AFL website has it if you click on the match and then go to player stats
  17. You can’t really. Just have to focus on technique and trust it will come through under pressure. One thing you can train for is skills under fatigue I guess, so there’s that option.
  18. I got one of those as well… also have it signed by Koz, Trent and Jackson…. Would be nice if he came back
  19. I’d be extremely surprised if Jeffo played round 1. I think it will be JVR, Turner and Johnson as the KPFs and Johnson 2nd ruck. Petty will also be back in defence assuming he doesn’t have an injury.
  20. Nice to give Freo fans a bit of their own medicine… It would be nice if they are in a dog fight with the Eagles for Warner and therefore need additional draft capital…. Keep Kozzy and bring back Jacko…. Would be a real Freo thing to do as well
  21. Bowey was fine? Had 27 touches at 70% DE. Ideally he would be at around 75-80%, but it was a practice match so I’m sure his touch will improve
  22. I guess the same as we do with Koz…. Strange times
  23. I’m from Perth originally so know the difference! Most people wouldn’t. It’s definitely much cooler the further south you go
  24. It’s not in Perth, it’s in Mandurah.
  25. It’s not going to be 36, it’s 28/29 There should also be a sea breeze coming in, so I don’t think the conditions will be too bad.
