  1. I'm relieved Toumpas is gone so I can stop hoping he will become an afl player when I know he never will.
  2. Toump gone for pick 50. Reasonable price given his output and lack of potential Kennedy and pick 29 for Howe is okay. Hopefully Kennedy can show it to be a win. We certainly won't miss either player next year. Howe was absolute trash in at least 15 games this year.
  3. He either wanted to go or we didn't want him. So he said I'll wait til the end of year. What else can you say? He probably assumed he'd be going to GC and then the pies come in late with an offer he likes.
  4. They all do it. Trelore, Carlisle, etc. it's the reality that players who want to be traded out will say which club they'd prefer to be traded to
  5. Nah he had years to show something. Very unlikely he will make afl grade but big blokes will always get looked at
  6. Some bizarre comments in here. Could somebody state what Howe has gone wrong to warrant such hatred? Even assuming he is the one pushing to leave and we are not pushing him I don't get it. He is allowed to select his club of choice. Are people pizzed that we would get more from GC? That's nothing to do with him
  7. A big off season? They are 3 average players. They may improve our depth but we won't be seeing finals.
  8. Maybe we reckon it could be a year like last year? - brayshaw at 3 and caleb marchbank at 6
  9. Good work dees get in early. We should to get him locked away for the next 7-8 years soon. He is the game changer. Pay him whatever.
  10. I'm over being angry at this coz I don't have the energy. Welcome milkshake. May you prove goody a genius.
  11. Would make no sense for them to trade Parker. Young future captain. Only reason would be if they have their eye on someone. Like a key back. Coz they can only trade in if they trade out
  12. id be happy enough to see him go. lovely lad but not up to AFL from what ive seen of him if we can get anything for him, take it
  13. what gun Fyfe is. played the second half of the season on one leg and missed 4 games and still won. he would have cracked 40 votes if he stayed fit on another topic, I think they should officially exclude defenders from the brownlow. its [censored] ridiculous. obviously the umpires have no appreaciation for the skill involved in being a good defender. they just vote for whoever gets the ball the most T Mac gettin no votes and Scarlet hardly polling over the years when he was one of the best players of the past 30 years sums it up.
  14. The MilkShake has officially put in a trade request. Essendon are "extremely dissapointed" with his decision i.e. they want a good draft pick for him
  15. What a blown pick at pick 3. Has shown very little and struggled to get a game. I'd pass. We have enough under performing high picks
  16. 2 years of no games and he has the nerve to knock back a contract at the pies and request a trade. You've done nothing mate!
  17. yeah some more meetings and presentations should do the trick nah my post was written partially in jest. but i do have a concern that we need so many blokes to teach the players about the game. surely our players should know a lot about the game, watch it, learn tactics, game plans (I certainly did when i played). these days it seems so much like a job that they need to be talked into learning about the game. we have 5 months every year with nothing to do but learn the game plan! it cant be that hard. with the ball, without the ball. at stoppages. seriously not brain surgery
  18. analyst and education coordinator? we do realise this is footy and not a corporation? just get the ball and kick through the big sticks!
  19. interesting to see the coaches had Bernie in their AA team and he didnt even crack the squad of 40 for the official team. just shows how BS this is
  20. no interest in Yarran. looks like a world beater in 5 games per year. the rest he looks terrible. a better version of Blease. we need consistent performers
  21. He has played 22 games each of last 3 seasons so injuries are hopefully behind him. He would be great in our midfield or maybe off half back. Strong, skilful, good decision maker and finals experienced. Easily worth a first round pick. Good to hear we are into some good players! But people have to realise we have to give up something good to get something good. No way a second round pick will do it for Hamish.
  22. Second rounder for melksham! Fark me! Can only pray this isn't true.
