  1. I can see the headlines now: big Cox fails to stand up in front of big crowd
  2. Pies won 7 on the trot before their loss to freo. We have been inconsistent and horrible in front of goal. But overall our intensity has improved. We are not without a chance but it will be tough. But you can never tell what will happen on these big days. The rain is meant to clear and the sun come out which is great. Playing Cox is a mistake in my opinion. He is not a natural footballer and needed to get some touch after 6 weeks out.
  3. He played 2 vfl games then a week off with the ankle
  4. Cheers for the perspective. Makes sense
  5. Pruess seems like he is smashing it aside from on the scoreboard. 0.3. 14 touches. 6 tackles. 5 marks. 27 hitouts Good stats, does he look good fir those watching?
  6. I thought this was a gag at first but apparently not. So a 19yo plays AFLW for MFC 8 weeks out of 52 for little money and she support Geelong in AFL - a different comp. And the problem is????
  7. So he was Booed because he is black? So bizarre. Wtf would someone be thinking doing that? id be interested to watch the movie to see what went on from his perspective.
  8. Have to hand it to Chris Scott, although I am not a fan of his. Completely reinvented the team. New tactics to beat the trends of the past 2 years. Scores massive totals with few inside 50s. Thry have a few stars but a lot of no name players. Hopefully hawkins and Gary do a hammy soon
  9. Hell no. All the talent in the world but no heart.
  10. Steven May is the face and ambassador for this product I hear. did some taste testing in May
  11. Man it is exciting having May and Lever in the 18. JKH bit stiff to miss out but he did butcher the ball. Hannan was more deserving of the chop but stays in for positional need and as he is a better player INT: Spargo - Hibberd -Stretch - Preuss - Weed - ANB - Garlett - Wagner My guess: Hibberd, Weed, Garlett, ANB out Wagner, Spargo, Stretch, Wagner
  12. A complete backline transplant. Hopefully with Lever and May, Frost can play to his strength and give us lots of run our defence will be rusty but its the first step to gaining some cohesion. Carn the Demons!
  13. The man. The Legend. He has an amazing gift of drawing you in, uses his own life experience and puts things in perspective. I was looking at Weeds watching on, he would be thinking okay i missed an important goal but in the context of this does it matter? what matters is how i handle this challenge perfect message for the group. Love to Neale and family
  14. fair point but honestly we are desperate. An 80% Lever would do better what is currently there. Agree Hannan was brought back too soon however. he was rusty as
  15. It's a Bing-Ding-Dong battle between you two!
  16. I reckon he sounded OK, not half a bad as the other one. probably just some mild panic feelings due to sustained stress, happens to the best of us. I actually found it hard to focus on anything aside from his eye brows. the right one is up, stayyys up. left one is dancing around. he must have a decent stink-eye ps, wasn't going to post that second line but i'd already pressed the submit reply button
  17. I don’t reckon he is far off a recall but his Casey form has been average. Not much chance of coming in this week
  18. No Taylor Adams, Elliot, Dunn, wells, Beams, Langdon. Question mark over Cox and Grundy but they reckon Grundy will play. After just beating Sydney Bd losing to freo at home they are certainly not in their best form thats right, I’m getting my hopes up already!
  19. yeah true, he is 6'1' though and can play tall. can't wait for Lever and May to be out there. imagine May wrestling Jenkins instead of O Mac??
  20. I'm going mainly to get out of the house and have a few beers
  21. I wonder if Hore comes back in too or too many talls back there? not sure we can play, Hibbo/Lever/May/Frost and Hore all in the same backline.
  22. BT thinks yelling at Sam after that would help the situation?? Anyone with a brain would know this will have no positive impact aside from making the coach feel better. I am glad Goody showed some maturity and supported Sam as did his skipper Jack
  23. Grundy has probably been the better ruckman this year so far, but I'll back Gawn to continue his great recent form us winning only 3 games so far makes it almost impossible for him to in with a shout
  24. From memory his first ~5 games were below his lofty standards but his last month has been outstanding. How he didn’t win the Brownlow last year is a mystery. if the umpires poll him in a Similar way this year his votes will be down on last year. I don’t reckon he has a chance this year
  25. I love how losing to Essendon was the last straw
