Gawn article
Aside from the first few, not a great list of leaders. especially when you compare to other teams. Some Great players though.

Gawn article
if you think we've been well-served in the area of captains over the past 30 years, I'm not sure I can help you We've been desperately lacking strong leadership over the years. Hopefully now with Gawn and Viney, things will turn

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Well done to Burgess / Goody etc for being so professional, having already practised and prepared for the 4 day breaks during the COVID down time. We have a young team, so aside from Bennell, Jones, Jetta etc. I would expect the best 22 to play each week. we could do some damage this year.

CHANGES: Rd 08 vs Brisbane
T Mac in for Vanders. Jackson play HFF / 2nd uck

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Geelong will surely drop down the table during the remainder of the season. No Ablett or Selwood along with Stewart and Clark etc. An ageing list that will need rotation. Not a lot of depth. There will be no excuses if we don't make finals, we are in a good position to go on a good run with a young fit, deep list.

Fixture 2020 (COVID Edition)
Good fixture. Prime time on thurs and then Wednesday. If we were bottom 4 no way we get Thursday night against the top team. two top 4 teams two bottom 4 teams. We play away regardless so a bit of travel is no big deal. Good thing we don’t have to go Perth and back. enough whinging. We are in good form and have a fit list. Lets smash the bears and port!

Aaron vandenBerg to miss 2 weeks [CONFIRMED]
Agree. Mental toughness and onfield leadership have been massive issues for us over the years. We play better with Vanders in the team

Shane Tuck passes away
That does make it difficult. However not talking about it at all is not working. #1 killer in young males. If it can be discussed without the details of how it was done perhaps that would not prompt an increase. My mate from work committed suicide around a year ago and its just hard to take. 32yo, bright, seemingly happy guy, long term partner, good career. his partner or family had no idea why he did it and no known history of mental illness. one chat could have saved him

Shane Tuck passes away
So sad, The a Project is the only program I have seen where the issue was broached. Something like a 25% increase in suicides since covid started. Which means the increase is more people dying than from covid itself it should be talked about more

Will Petracca Feel Brownlow Love?
Gawn will poll votes but not many others will takes 2 or 3s. Trac is eye catching. He kicks goals and dominates the middle. Best player in the league at the moment

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
3-3 and we’ve played 3 of the top 5 from last year. The season is alive! thank Christ coz we all need it at the moment Gawn and Trac are the two best players I’ve seen play in a MFC jumper for at least 15 years. Trac turned 24 years old this year! The next 150 games will be awesome
