GC are in for possibly the worst few seasons of all time. list the players theyve lost over the ast 3 years and you have a bloody good side. theyll have picks 2-3-4 or whatever but it doesnt matter, they will just train them up for another team to poach. hard to see any hope for them

why is there still a rookie draft and rookie list? just add the rookies to the main list and clubs will take more picks in the national draft. no reason for rookies to be paid a 1/4 of someone drafted at pick 88. they do all the same work.

we didnt kick one goal in the first half! and the entire team played terribly. arguably the midfield was the worst on the day and cost us the most goals.

Pruess is a speculative pick. played 8 games for 5 goals and is apparently slow even for a big man. hopefully he can come on but we should not be banking on it

Yeah it is a worry but T Mac is pretty hardy aside from the foot issues. We played our best footy with 2 tall fwds and and I love that strcuture and flexibility we had up front. whichever way you slice it, losing Hogan would be a massive loss. from age 24-30 I reckon he will dominate the comp

this year apparently it is: missing the 8 and throwing buckets of money around potentially: Hannebery, Shiel, gaff. Polec, Hogan etc seems to be a shift from glory hunters to money grabbers

a few players actually want to go home for personal reasons but a lot use it as a reason to leave the club they are at, eg, Polec (now moving away from home), Mitch clark. not many Tigers players want to move home. winning = players happy, usually. not sure what Hogan's deal is, maybe we will never know

I don't think he is pivotal to our success, we are just a worse team without him in it. For example, his running/link play, field kicking. Weed/Tmac do not cover this. no doubt our defence needs work but not at the expense of our fwd line. I reckon he would kick 60+ over the next 7-8 years. we need to do everything we can to keep him but if he wants to go, not much we can do
