Really quick but his work outside 50 is poor. poor awareness and decision making I reckon teams figured this one-trick pony out and now he is ineffective. often goes missing for large parts of the game

Look forward to seeing Marty float across a pack effortlessly taking nice marks. Will put pressure on Lever. a natural footballer. Very solid

For all intensive purposes that’s the worse news I’ve heard all day

Wow quite the tizzy about an ageing wingman past his best signing a 3 year deal id prefer we look elsewhere Keep coming with the rumours/inside word. You’re a new character to the madness of DL and I’m likin it
  6. True. But right now we are not close to the scoring power of most good teams

Cmon mate, you seriously think every AFL player has excellent inside 50 kicking skills? We have less than 5 on our list.
  8. DubDee replied to roy11's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
his kicking inside 50 is excellent as evidenced this year his tackling is aggressive and I would rate it as 'very good' so there is two for you. next step is to score more goals. he made progress this year and also increased his kicking length which was very poor early days and can kick it 50 now
  9. is this a joke? includes a couple of kids, a couple of blokes we are trying to trade, a gun mid, and blokes who don't try like Melksham. offers very little pressure. doesn't compare to top 8 fwd lines even with Brown in there
  10. Is it too much to ask to win the flag for Jonsey next year? rest him for the prelim. Then he can kick the winner against the Cats after the siren in the GF
  11. Love Jones but he cannot add much to the team, certainly not consistently anymore. I don’t see any parallels with McDonald. Junior was captain and playing well, he should have played on but was chopped due to an overly aggressive rebuild if getting to 300 games had anything to do with this decision, I’d be ropable. We are not a charity. If you deserve a contract, you get one, regardless of the number of games played but I love jones and hope he plays well

I agree. Although it could come down to mismanagement of their cap. I don’t think they expected to have so many players needed huge deals. Grundy, Moore, Treloar, Adams etc. now with DeGeoy needing a big deal they are complete screwed and need to offload a star. but if they are doing that by creating a narrative of Treloars health issues it is not only disgusting but stupid as who would take on his salary
  13. They didn’t have as much luck with Ben Cousins, last seen in jail
  14. Guys relax, just another rumour from a hack journo Hogan is done. he is massive into the gear and couldn't get his head right even back home with the support of family and friends. I've always liked the bloke but he chances of him being a good quality AFL player are almost nil. why do you think Freo want to get rid of him??

28yo 180 games. LG experience. seemingly solid pro worth a look. obviously we would need to offer more than 1-2 yr contract to get him over at this stage of his career. Experienced leaders with finals experience are always good and leadership/professionalism is still an issue for us

Like MFC, it seems 2018 was an aberration for T Mac as well. He had a cracker of a year and looked so good up front. its ancient history now. we move on

Man I love the off-season! there were no excuses the last two years either but screw it, why not be positive for once

chase success.... with the Demons? is this sarcasm or are we actually a semi-decent team now?? im overwhelmed

Great update Dr. Evil. although I'm glad you are not doing the negotiating of contracts. they would all be ONE MILLLLLLIIIOONN DOLLLAARRS ? anyhoo... great to hear we are being so active again in trade week. 3 years for Isaac is a bit too much but you gotta do what you need to. And him and Langdon on the wings at the G with Jacko roaming HF would be sweet

Wait for the Hawks to swoop in and grab him on the cheap
  21. DubDee replied to Elegt's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
and clubs and fans want loyalty? this is outrageous if true. if he wanted to leave at this stage of his contract, a club would usually decline such a request. so he should just say he is happy and doesn't want to move. so disrespectful for a quality player and from what I can tell from AFL360 etc, a quality young man

Very strange from the Pies. They Liked him enough to trade him in. He has gotten better if anything with the pies and now they’ve basically told him to [censored] off? Not great player management. Some injury concerns but he has some good years left. They must have their eyes on a big trade. Or maybe it is cap space for De Geoy? sidebottom and pendels are really getting on. Beams and Treloar gone too. Bit light on in the middle. And Grundy struggling too

I recall Michael Long taking that approach in 2000. I'm not a fan. Go in hard for sure, hurt your opponent sure. but go for the head and rule them out for the game? no.

Well that proposal is a dilly of a pickle Thinking with my head, I probably would I think, based on superior foot skills and ability to score more often. But not by much. But I love Gussy so, thinking like the one-eyed MFC fan, I would keep Gussy coz I love him and reckon he'd come good
