TEAMS: Rd 15 vs Essendon
We played our best footy this year with this fwd line. If it works again itโll be interesting to see what happens.

NON MFC: Rd 15 2021
I'm glad the WC/dogs game got moved from a night game to twilight. its a nice curtain raiser for the big event I'll be cheering the bears on hard tonight. The Cats are really starting to get my goat

My Round 15 Preview and Prediction
No Francis or Hurley down back they look light on. Ridley is very good but not much quality aside from him. Hawks had 23 scoring shots last week which should have been enough to beat them if they kicked straight T Mac, Frizz and Kozzi should have a day out

What they're saying down at Windy Hill
Please just show vision of the last 2 minutes of Neale's last game as the boys run out The bombers are starting to rear their head out of their mess with good drafting, let's put them in their place. please!!

My Round 15 Preview and Prediction
We need to bring aggression on Saturday night and we should win easily Merrett and Parish are 5"10'. they don't have much midfield depth after that Trac, Oliver, Gawn, Viney, Harmes need to physically dominate the midfield and we can brush them aside. Some rain doesn't hurt us either. make it more scrapy with more stoppages and Clarry/Viney will mop up

Round 16/17/18/19 fixtures
perhaps they are figuring out when and where to play the Swans v WC game? but not having it yet is pretty crazy

Sam Weideman re-signs until 2023
Completely agree OD. Perfect example in Basketball is Ben Simmons, young (very rich) Aussie guy, with the world at his feet. Has a terrible playoffs with the world watching. he is being crucified in the media for choking, being soft, etc. lay off the bloke FFS. He should change clubs and cities and start fresh

My Round 15 Preview and Prediction
We badly needed a mental and physical break. Especially the midfield, young blokes and Gawny. Lockdown impacts everyone, even footballers Bombers will come out firing but over the four quarters we will be too strong at the G. Our midfield is far better and out defence will be too good. Demons by 32pts

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Viney in for Sparrow a Brown in for Weed (which ever one is in better form and is fit) The weed is so down on confidence and we are not kicking it to him anyway, so he needs to go back

COVID & AFL 2021
Great to have crowds back!! Letโs smash those bombers Although, its their home game though so we wonโt be getting many tickets youโd imagine
-
NON MFC: Rd 14 2021
Bombers made to look average by a poor Hawks side. Just got over the line thanks to an unbelievable game from Stringer if we are switched on, they shouldnโt cause us problems

[censored] I hate Geelong

NON MFC: Rd 14 2021
How TF do Geelong keep staying top after 16 years?? They are Manchester Utd of the AFL Carey reckons Selwood is up there with the best captains of all time. My bollocks! He is a great player no doubt but how many flags has he won as captain?? Zero he walked into one of the most talented lists in history.

NON MFC: Rd 14 2021
couple of upsets are on the cards I reckon the dogs will get up tonight. Carlton a real chance against GWS and the bombers are now without McGrath, Francis, Shiel, Hurley, Caldwell. but still should beat the Hawks

Spirit of the Game
interesting read Hemingway, I completely agree. do you think Mackay should have been suspended though?
-
Spirit of the Game
this is the part that I am not sure I agree with. Imo he did not elect to bump. he is going for the ball, I think gets a hand on it and the players collide in an accidental or incidental collision. This is the crux of what will be debated tonight. If you think he chose to bump he should get weeks if not, we should be cleared. If they declare it incidental contact but still suspend him then the game is in trouble and we will start to see players not attack the footy at 100% which will ruin it

Fixtures - second half of the season
Wins: Bombers GWS Hawks Gold Coast Dogs Crows Losses: Port (away) WC (away) Cats (away) Will leave us 17-5 and in the top 2. Obviously we could easily win against Port/WC/Cats, conversely we could easily lose to the six easer games. On balance and if we keep up the form we have shown in the first 13 games we should finish with 17 wins The games need to freshen up for sure over the bye and unlike many of our challengers we do not have many injuries to significant players (eg, Butters, Treloar, Shuey etc)

Umpiring for Collingwood
We were favoured by the umpires if anything. Bad decisions on both sides Collingwood deserved the win
-
If Ben Brown doesnt play the rest of the year
Good to have confirmation that PF is Damian Barrett. I had suspected for a while

CHANGES: Rd 15 vs Essendon
Likely changes based on emergencies this week viney and M Brown in sparrow and Weed out we desperately need a leading fwd.
-
POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
We were off all game. Keen to get these ones out of system mid season and learn from it. second to ball, outnumbered at contests, making silly errors. anyone blaming individuals has no idea, the whole team blew this game

Any chance of us actually kicking it to Weideman?

Good lift in intensity that Q. Gawn was very good. we will win this we need to look at that first half.
