  1. We kicked 8 goals 2 behinds to Geelong’s 3 behinds from the 20th minute of the 3rd Q! just unbelievable believe and mental toughness has been the last piece of the puzzle missing and we look to have it now
  2. I woke the kids up twice. Once when Gus’s kick was called deliberate with 34 seconds to go. Something along the lines of FFFAAAARRRRRKKKK!!!! second when Gawns kick when through. my daughter asking if I’m ok. And my son greasing me off with a WTF look
  3. My heart rate has finally returned to normal. good lord what a game I have never seen the boys celebrate like that. They were so pumped. we go into next week full of confidence
  4. 600 Oliver 5 Gawn 4 Lever 3 Salem 2 Pickett 1 Viney
  5. Picket fence - Gawn is ready for your apology
  6. Dads Army getting tired???
  7. Manage Gawn’s minutes from here. playing in 6 days
  8. They’ve always chipped around the back but a lot of run and carry through the middle and fwd and non 15m kicks outside 50 is a change they used to bomb it a fair bit to their big 3
  9. Counts for little tonight. I’m glad that Scott has shown his hand so we can work on how to defend against them in finals if needed no injuries please well beat Port next week
  10. Who can forget the Cats losing the 2008 GF purely by bad kicking. probably the best team I’ve seen aside from 2002 Lions.
  11. We either Port in AO or the Lion in a neutral venue. that’s the options?
  12. It’s a weird one tonight. Will be good to win but nowhere near as important as it is to win next week. Go in hard, don’t get injured. playing Port away next week is nothing to be scared of but playing a team not at home is preferable. most important is to play well tonight and go into next week confident.
  13. Let’s just hope SA and WA stay covid free so we don’t have to cancel the season. I don’t give a rats where we play at this stage
  14. Game on tomorrow night Can’t wait!
  15. I know what you mean. BUT I reckon having a real competitive game versus a dead rubber is better for us going into finals
  16. We can beat both those teams easily
  17. Really??? I had no idea!
  18. West Coast are done. Dogs are fifth
  19. Top 4 finishes Goodwin 1 Bevo 0
  20. I’ve had a shot every time Brayshaw said Mitts, Dukes or Wheels. needless to say I’m hammered
  21. Dogs with one goal since 10 mins into the first Q
  22. Why do the school teachers, sorry I mean umpires yell at players to ‘leave the area’ when their team has the mark???
  23. good point. The dogs could have put in Martin tonight but maybe they want him cherry ripe for finals? English is very good fwd so they should be desperate to get another ruck in. I'm a little surprised Schache didn't come back in down back too. Port have been in good form but if the dogs mids fire and the Bont dominates, they will win
  24. no idea. for some reason I have never needed to be aware of such information! 😂 I would assume the top team would not be disadvantaged by a 6 day break
  25. I think the dogs will win in a close one tonight. can't see them losing 3 on the trot. Dunkley and Treloar all back now, their midfield will fire It's a pity that these two teams get an extra days break before finals as it should have been us (assuming we finish first). I assume we will be playing next Sat night
