Yeh that’s rubbish that Brisbane jumped in at the last minute, they didn’t offer Christensen or Taylor new contracts during the season and they’re still yet to be offered contracts. Both are small forwards, my money’s on Brisbane waiting to see what Elliott does before Taylor and Christensen are re-signed. Brisbane have been after Elliott for some time.

Langdon for 22 is fair for both. The longer it takes, I fear it will be due to Fremantle wanting more.

If Brayshaw goes to Fremantle Peter Bell might get that feather in his cap that he keeps banging on about.

I thought at the time that tweet or whatever it was from Russell Robertson was a weird one. Yze was allegedly shattered that he couldn’t get to us because Hawthorn were making him honour the last year of his contract, then today it’s announced he’s extended said contract until end of 2022. Weird.

Gut feel is he’ll stay at Collingwood because they have or they will up their offer to three years. I agree with DL that we were a pawn used by Elliott and his management to get an extra year out of Collingwood. It failed. Now the same tactic is being applied using Brisbane with his management upping the ante, this time cameras were on stand-by filming Elliott’s arrival and entering of Brisbane’s facilities. Elliott is a fan favourite, Eddie won’t let him leave.

I reckon he’s put a line through us. It was Brisbane until Collingwood upped their offer to three years. He’ll re-sign with Collingwood on a three year deal, bookmark it.
