Agree , cats long term success goes back to strategies put in place when the expansion clubs come in that they wouldn’t bottom out to rebuild..they trade in the best free agents which in itself a real issues to the competition as the best will end to 4-5 teams who will dominate. Will up to our 4 president & 3rd CEO by 2026, stability & planning linked to success

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
Just banter mate, their fans would be saying it’s great as they haven’t bottomed out since winning the flag in 07 & their lowest is 10th and missed finals twice with 4 flags

It’s actually 140 million in total In redevelopment over 10 years+ unfortunately state gvt chasing votes and the cats have benefited greatly! Yet they couldn’t get us a plot of land to build a home base for a club that bears the name of the city!

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Would good support for JVR, Gunston proved age no barrier! If his body holds up will be handy but we will need to pay overs as usual to get him

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Perhaps King dosent want brain fades occurring reality is May great defender premiership hero etc but his actions since the flag have been poor, his time has come will be 34

Why Carlton they wil be sacking Voss next season Curnow wants out & silvagni gone makes zero sense
-
Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Agree totally, if a player wants out then the contract should be void and negotiate with the new club $$ .. we should not have to pay any part of the contract.. very disappointing if he does want out though as he should part of the solution going fwd not jump ship, hopefully King will galvanise the group

Disagree… players need to suck it up, sign a long term contract you see it through
-
Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Not saying trac wants out but fed up with players in the AFL signing long term contracts and then when things are not 100% etc they want to move clubs & expect the same $$$ contract to continue! The AFL & PA have to stop this BS or just have max 3 year contracts, can’t have security & flexibility, suck it up you signed a long contract own it!

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Guerra said they wanted to respect Cats playing in the prelim this week, but if Buckley was the one they would have waited
-
Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Guerra sounded great & answered the questions from Caro and didn’t fall into the Buckley agenda and purely on King snd how they respect the Cats prelim next week..
-
Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
Let’s respect the process no guarantees but the coaching selection panel that recommended King comprised of Melbourne president Brad Green, chief executive Paul Guerra, director Steven Smith, football manager Alan Richardson, former Essendon captain Jobe Watson, Melbourne Storm football director Frank Ponissi and human resources executive Meahan Callaghan.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
I’m sure if Buckley was the one they wanted they would have waited until next week! All premiership coaches started as 1st time untried senior coaches , go Kingy!
