Compromised draw to meet contracts with the MCG on x amount of games, tv ratings all come first vs integrity of the competition. As mentioned cats play the pies twice ay the G for supposedly more people get to see the game then the cats want a make up game at home and make us play there in a stadium that’s not completed and are ok with less people able to attend to watch the last 2 premiers whilst the mcg was vacant, why isn’t ok for less people to attend to watch cats vs the pies at gmhba but it’s ok if its melb??? You don’t have thus happening in the EPL or any other National comps globally! What is so hard for the afl to have a draw with one season home & the next away??? How is there any integrity in the AFL when they develop a fixture doing individual deals to appease individual clubs then give scraps to smaller clubs Our Club needs to stop selling home games & possible 4 points as once again our draw will see us play away for 3 weeks in a row with Gmhba, NT, Marvel, I’m sure Pert is a strong negotiator but about time our club started getting more than just scraps

No excuses but Afl has made us play our last 3 games at Geelong since playing at the G in 2921 , when do the Cats ever lose their home ground advantage playing us?? So our fixture selling a game to play in NT is now a neutral ground vs GWS & give up home ground … this is 4 points are we not passed the $$$ issue so this 3 week block is basically playing away gmhba, nt, marvel Still can’t understand the complexities of the AfL ad why they can’t have teams playing 1 season home & next away

Fwd line needs a shake up badly , bring in BB, Sache , melksham , … why bowey wasn’t played as would have been great in the wet. Though I don’t see Goodwin making so many changes, but just having Smith & Jvr want yeild us a flag

We are forever grateful as he’s our premiership drought breaking coach… development & recruiting from Jason Taylor excellent but look at our fwd line & understanding personnel with injuries to Bb & Tmac we only have a 20y JVR who is doing fine considering his youth etc..club Ned’s to capitalise on the premiership window & we haven’t been able to recruit a great n fwd.. all of our smalls not playing well & continue to bomb it in

The Afl draw has seen us play the Cats 4 times since 2021 with once at the G in 21 & last 3 away… we’re is the fairness here??? Our fwd line has been an issue for years with 2 on the sidelines on BB & Tmac unlikely to return to any greatness. looking at the other top 8 sides all have gun fwds and we haven’t been able to attract any free agents. Yet it appears they have banked on Grundy & Gawn to fill the void.. Gawn yet zero goals between them, Pickett should have cleaned up last night yet looks badly out of form …

Copy & paste pressure by Goody… fwd line has been an ongoing issue with stop gap solutions with T Mac and Bb who both have ongoing injuries, grant it they got away with it in 21 flag but look at the top 8 sides fwd lines it’s chalk & cheese, we are expecting a 20yo Jvr to hold down a kpp spot .. feel sorry for the kid! Why would the afl play the last 2 premiers on a Thursday nite in Geelong with a stadium that has restricted attendance due to construction whilst the G is empty & deny more people seeing the game, not to mention playing at their home ground 2 years in a row!

Why does the afl get us to play away & their home ground 2 yrs in a row??? This isn’t isolate & consistent all teams, not sure why they can’t swap over season??

No doubt pies playing well but their last 5 games who have they beaten WC, blues, gws , nth , swans all teams in the bottom 8, we haven’t taken any real scalps & just reinforces of the uneven draw

No Question pies playing well & be hard to beat, but last 5 weeks they have played bottom 8 sides a stat that the footy experts have been critical of the us, pies have travelled once in 5 weeks also .. a reflection of the poor scheduling by the AfL, pies will also have the last 4 weeks I’m melb before finals not bad hey

Not sure how our fwd line is threatening expecting a 20yo JVR who still learning his craft as our main power fwd?? So we need Fritsch to fire incl goals from Pickett , spargo & rotating rucks of Gawn & Grundy. what’s J Smith role a fwd very unconvincing.. BBB want improve @ Casey as he’s past improving so need to roll the dice with him
