Just on one point, what does unduly mean? Now I know what it means but how does that apply to football? If I am strong and bump or push you away from the drop zone in order to take a mark is that unduly pushing or bumping? Or am I simply using my strength advantage? What I was alluding to but may not have expressed well was that country Victorian towns become hubs. Interstate clubs do not return home they stay in the hubs, like Victorian teams are doing interstate now. They can return home after the season. I know it won't happen but I wonder if it was considered.

LDvC many country towns have airports! Most have roads that buses can drive on, some even have trains. Further, some country towns have accommodation and even footy ovals. Don't be so city centric. It is possible to get from Perth to anywhere in Victoria in under half a day. You could go Perth to Mildura via Melbourne in about the same time as Perth to Brisbane. Anyway the point is moot. I would have liked the AFL to have considered moving 8 interstate teams to Victoria and playing the season in Victoria. Why choose to relocate 10 teams? The players and club personnel are in lock down anyway so you can do that anywhere. Why not Northern Territory or Tasmania?

Sorry RtG but it is entirely natural to hate Essendon for that. In fact there are many reasons to hate them and they are without question my most hated club. On reflection they are the only club that I currently hate. (Special mention to Carlton, Collingwood, Geelong & Hawthorn and no fan of Adelaide or WCE either)

Kudos to all posters for having this discussion and maintaining a semblance of respect for each other. We are very fortunate to be in Australia, we have won life's lottery. Racial vilification is never acceptable. I think education is the best way to stamp it out, but that is taking time and will take a long time yet.

It is possible that there is another issue with Bennell that the club are not talking about. I know nothing about any problem but I do know that clubs lie. Logically to me Bennell would be playing.

Move all interstate teams to Victoria. Problem solved.

The obvious answer is for Brisbane & Gold Coast to move south for the foreseeable future - No games in QLD Edit: If other state premiers play hard ball move all clubs to Victoria. They could play at MCG, Docklands, Geelong, Casey, Princes Park etc.

I think that they are holding back on our game as they are expecting others to also be postponed during the season. The AFL could then organise a bye/makeup round for all postponed games.
