WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
ManDee replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
And wouldn't North love that. Double whammy. -
So it's only ok to talk about history when it helps your argument?
-
He did this then he did that. On the other hand he was better than last time. He should be dropped. He should play next round. He was concussed. A small request, could you mention a name at least once so we know who he is. You know who I am talking about.

Malthouse’s Damning Assessment of Another Wasted Year
ManDee replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hit's the head on the nail. Interesting, painful but an unusual take on an old saying. Might even catch on. -
Who is this Bradshaw that keeps popping up?
-
Always interesting to see who votes after the polls close (do they close?), and who is this Bradshaw?

Nev this post is not directed at you but at the highlighted point you raised. Every reporter that reported on the story has named Ms Cotchin, have they been suspended? Ms Cotchin outed herself. I cannot see how reporting on a public post leads to Cleary's suspension, all the suspension does is draw more attention to Ms Cotchin. The stupidity of people that post photos of themselves breaking rules/laws staggers me. They deserve whatever comes their way. I note that Cleary admitted doing the wrong thing, I suspect he wants to continue AFL reporting.

As alluded to on here a couple of times, s endun (bummers) would love Oliver.
-
Maybe he's run out of chopsticks.

6. Oliver 5. May 4. Viney 3. Petracca 2. Salem 1. Weideman .5 Brayshaw half a point for half a game
-
Trading Oliver for a draft pick is crazy! From his draft year 2015 nobody has played more games or had more possessions. The draft is a lottery. And you are advocating trading him for a second round pick! Just as an example in his draft year picks 19-22 are Ryan Burton, Brayden Fiorini, Ben McKay and Kieran Lovell, not exactly superstars!
-
Just on one point, what does unduly mean? Now I know what it means but how does that apply to football? If I am strong and bump or push you away from the drop zone in order to take a mark is that unduly pushing or bumping? Or am I simply using my strength advantage? We want forwards crashing packs, but can they really? It is a farce. And don't get me started on last nights match umpiring, FMD - give it back now, not quick enough!!!

Only Oliver & maybe Weideman fit that criteria. And as you say Jackson & Pickett, who show potential.
-
So Nash does that mean you have no standards?

What I was alluding to but may not have expressed well was that country Victorian towns become hubs. Interstate clubs do not return home they stay in the hubs, like Victorian teams are doing interstate now. They can return home after the season. I know it won't happen but I wonder if it was considered.
-
LDvC many country towns have airports! Most have roads that buses can drive on, some even have trains. Further, some country towns have accommodation and even footy ovals. Don't be so city centric. It is possible to get from Perth to anywhere in Victoria in under half a day. You could go Perth to Mildura via Melbourne in about the same time as Perth to Brisbane. Anyway the point is moot. I would have liked the AFL to have considered moving 8 interstate teams to Victoria and playing the season in Victoria. Why choose to relocate 10 teams? The players and club personnel are in lock down anyway so you can do that anywhere. Why not Northern Territory or Tasmania?

I wonder if Chris Fagan will call Clarkson this week for some insight. That was a good win (intended). Max was a leviathan, great match. Go Deees!
