  1. If you go back through the post you will find I was questioned about jumping to conclusions that the EFC had records about their doping program and that they had destroyed them. From that point I sarcastically make references to knowing the answer with-out showing all the workings. Hence 2+2=4. Gladly accept the role at the Hun, but would have to reduce my standards even further. Maybe i could type left handed with my eyes closed. Or are you being ironic and I missed it?
  2. With no records kept and and the acceptance that substances were administered, what defense do the EFC have to future claims from players claiming problems as a result of the unknown substances? The EFC can hardly say we did not give you x y or z. Or at the dosage you had you could not possible have that side effect. Pandora and her box will open. I cannot see this mitigating the risk for EFC I think it will exaggerate the risk. What possible defense could they mount. We don't know what they were administered or how much and based on our complete lack of records......woops....... The year is 2053 the son of player X I'll call him Goter, he finds that he is infertile as a possible result of a sperm defect from his father who played for EFC he is seeking damages. It could happen.
  3. What's up-drinking? Should you really be taking it at this time when we have no forward line? I need a Jack.
  4. I concur, IMO they have chosen the path leading to the smallest penalty. In so doing they have opened the door to potentially massive claims from the players & Worksafe. Time will tell. One thing I am certain of, they are going to cop a whack at some time.
  5. This all reminds me of the US government in pursuit of the gangster Al Capone. The authorities could not get him for any of his nefarious activities. In the end he went to jail for tax evasion. Maybe the EFC will get theirs in some unexpected way? We can only hope.
  6. You can't have it all ways. 1 Records not kept is wrong. 2 Records lost or destroyed is wrong. Did they keep records or not? Either way they have done wrong.
  7. Do you have any proof that he needs to put his teeth in to type or is that simply your opinion?
  8. Stop baiting OD. I think we can get him to bite. Perhaps we could take bets on how long it will take.
  9. Many things are possible OD. It is possible we were the only side that tanked. It is possible that African Swallows tethered together could carry a coconut. That is not what happened at the EFC
  10. So wyl what do you think happened to the records? I happen to know someone who was charged with a failure to keep full & factual records (I think that is what he said) But the truth be known he did keep those records and they were factual. He simply chose to not provide those records. One can only presume that the penalty for failure to keep was less that what may have occurred if that evidence had been forthcoming. Does this sound familiar? I think those records were hidden for a long time just in case they were really needed. Sound possible? This acquaintance, now departed put all those records somewhere, one day they may turn up. With EFC I reckon there may be more than one copy. They often say follow the money, Or who benefited or stands to benefit? We can guess. Young Jimmy's on a good wicket, $1mill for no work for a year, extended contract $250k towards education in Switzerland I think. Who else? One can only speculate. We may never know, "Underbelly 4 The Don" we may have to wait until everyone is dead.
  11. I was waiting for that. But does he really? Had such an exciting start, I thought he was our next superstar.
  12. I know, trying to inject some humour. But I keep no records of my injections. I can't help it I'm like a dog with a bone, I think you may be similar in that respect.
  13. Ouija board I would presume. Obviously they keep no records. I will respect you in the morning. The cheques in the mail. We kept no records. The three great lies. I forgot, The dog ate my homework. 2+2=Four
  14. Have enjoyed the discussion. I agree to disagree. I hope we get more than one, win that is. IMO 8-10. but that is only my opinion.
  15. H is for Hogan? Not familiar with the God Dancing Christs are they from Elwood?
  16. So do we have to send him to Carlton to learn to kick?
  17. What, I don't get an extra 10% for having to go to Sydney? Buddy did.
  18. We may well have the Tassie Bombers as my informant suggested. I think the EFC may be in for a spell very soon.
  19. The players have time to sue the EFC. I would expect after the end of their playing careers a few will come out slugging. EFC will have no records to show that the program could not cause a future problem to the players. Hoist on their own petard.
  20. Full and accurate record keeping is the underpinning of any business. Blind Freddie could see that the EFC have disposed of incriminating evidence. Sorry to Freddie for using his name in the same sentence as the cheats at EFC. So EFC, was everyone at the EFC so incompetent that they should all be sacked or have they disposed of the evidence? They are the options.. Mmmmm you know what I think. Whatever it takes. Cheat, lie, put at risk, drug use, failure of duty of care, incompetence, blame shift. Whatever it takes.EFC
  21. I think that the HUN have documents to suggest that they are at no risk of litigation. They have not claimed the guilt of players just that they have been named. Messy journalism, but when ASADA is finished with EFC this whole HUN episode will probably be forgotten. No problem with slander when you tell the truth.
  22. Obvious really six quarters the last time I looked was a cup & a half. (Think Cadbury's) Four thirds, now that's plain silly we don't play thirds any more, they become the under 19's now sadly gone as has the McClennan Trophy. I think five halves play rugby, could be wrong. Hope that has cleared things up .
