  1. Terlich looking exceptional. Jones had a great start - albeit has missed a couple of goals, hard shots. Tyson has the best hands in the league - he is a Simon Black clone. JKH, very busy boy. Blease looks great.
  2. In fairness, Tex Walker is the only legitimate 100 goal forward in the game. He is throw back to the 90's and the best full forward the league has seen since the Fevolution.
  3. Yeah, I think the ruck position is Spencer's to lose atm.
  4. It is a poor article because there is no evidence that Richmond is any closer to a flag now - than they were 10 years ago. Richmond are built on hype, but they lack leadership, this is evident. MFC have far more leadership than Richmond, far more. The only thing is, our leadership sits in the stands. Dawes and Clark are leaders, once they get on the field, combined with Grimes, Jones, the recent addition of Cross, Vince and the uprising of Viney and Toumpas, there is no logical being that would leave MFC - in order to play at Richmond. We might be perceived in the media to be no-hopers at present, but with a fully fit list, we will actually stand for something, especially under Roos. On Richmond, the only leader they have desperately wanted out - in Martin, he should've followed his instincts as well. Richmond are the most overrated club in recent times, they are gunners.
  5. I think the Sylvia for Vince trade - as it essentially was - will serve us very well. Bernie Vince is a footballers footballer, he knows how to find the football and how to use it. Vince is everything we need, he is predominately a midfielder, which is an area we struggle in - and an area where Sylvia was only just serviceable. Sylvia's best position IMO was on the forward flank, however, when Hogan, Clark, Dawes come in, then we can shift Howe to one flank - and rotate our mids off the other flank. Colin wasn't a great midfielder and our need for flankers in 2014 isn't as strong as it has been. Vince's best football isn't far behind Nathan Jones, it's just that Vince doesn't quite have the consistency of Jones. If we can get the best out of Bernie, then we'll be all the better for it.
  6. If he cannot juggle football and landscape photography, then I'd have no problem if he left the club. We only want footballers who want to play football - and more so, want to play for the MFC. Nothing about Clark suggests that he is about to abandon plans of playing football. But, of course, he has been injured for some time and one can say some silly things when they are frustrated.
  7. Dylan Grimes is no Jack Grimes.
  8. I doubt that source, that is on the low side for Fyfe. Fyfe was a top 10 players in the comp in 2013, should be top 5 this year.
  9. Thomas just calling out Roos high levels of self love, nothing we didn't know about Roos. I didn't like Roos before he jumped aboard, but I don't think anyone can doubt that he isn't a great coach - he has always been a great coach. Roos knowledge of the game is second to none, I don't care if he is a complete narc, he gets results. We need results.
  10. If Roos is shocked now, wait until the fun starts Roosy.
  11. This Paul Roos bloke seems to know what he is doing.
  12. Standing next to Freeman on draft day, it was evident how much Salem needed to improve his body shape. If we can get Salem even playing mid year it would be a massive advertisement for the club, considering in the past we've had the likes of Morton unable to bulk up much after years in the system, development under Roos might be something we have not seen in a while.
  13. No surprise Salem dominated, best spent pick in the past decade for MFC. There are no flaws in his game, he is inside by instinct - outside by skill and class. Tough, tenacious yet pure silk. His game is tighter than Kelly's, his inside is far better than Freemans, his outside game has far more polish than Freeman's. Player of the future, no doubt. Good to see Toumpas get a kick to.
  14. If big footy is to be believed, Frawley has already agreed to terms at the GC, lol.
  15. Boak nearly signed at Geelong, I've heard no legitimate mutterings about Frawley speaking to other clubs. Frawley is just waiting it out and good on him, the MFC has been a rabble the majority of the time he has been here.
  16. Was a big mistake to appoint Trengove captain. All wise football heads were vocal about this and it panned out as such. Nathan Jones plays the way MFC need to play, people might say Jones is an introvert - but he leads by example. Jones is desperate, determined, tough and disciplined, he just gets it done, that is what we need, to get it done, instead of talking about it.
  17. No, I need him at big footy for when I get banned in here.
  18. Thanks for the report, your work is much appreciated.
  19. Fair enough, it's up to the club to create an environment that players want to be a part of. Port seem to of done this well of late.
  20. I'd say no to Vlad, I think it's important that we replace PJ with someone just as ethical as the great man - which obviously rules out Vlad.
  21. Calender, big bloke, plenty of pies and not many winners.
  22. Supercoach opened today and there are some cheap Demons players. Jimmy Toumpas 240k Dom Tyson 216k Viv Michie 172k JKH 117k James Stauss 268k. Will these players get a run? Are there any other Demons of value.
  23. I do agree with you, I just find it baffling that Trengove hasn't became an elite player. Of all out draftees in the past decade, I'd say Jack Trengove was the most impressive as a junior, I'd of bet my left nut that he'd develop into an elite player. Looks so far from it the past couple of years, let's hope Roosy can help Trengove become a better player.
  24. Don't listen to the mugs, just keep going about your reports, they are much appreciated.
  25. That is a hell of a leadership group, we'll make finals if those lads all have a good year.
