This cannot be compared to the wild card system the NFL apply. To earn a wild card entry teams need to have strong win/loss ratio over the season and miss the play offs because they were part of a highly competitive Division. This is just expanding the finals series and rewarding a team that finishes in the bottom half of the ladder with an opportunity to play finals. 8/18 is plenty. 10/18 does not make sense I think.

My Mum took me to the football Round 1 1965. She was a passionate Dees fan and I had no option but to be a Dees fan. My son and I are trident members and we sit in the Southern stand. We are also Demon Army members. 1. Its a worthwhile donation, they play an important role on game day. 2. It enhances the interstate experience. There is usually a pre game and you get to sit with like minded fans during the game. Its very good value for money spent.
