he plays more like a medium forward in that he doesnt take many contested marks at this stage but is good on the ground and smart with his disposal. I feel we could play 3 talls with Weed and TMac and give Max more help in the ruck without losing much in terms of mobility

The focus shouldn't be on him for our loss. The midfield were the issue by not connecting with Gawn and turning the ball over through poor execution. He is definitely needed against Port.

Harmes needs to go. He has been poor all year and likewise Gus has to be sent a message. Bad decision making and poor execution has been the norm for us over the past 18 months and makes me think this group aren’t up to it. Goodwin emphasized in his latest interview that players will be selected on form. I think he was setting the scene for the non-selection of TMac. Jones and/or Tomlinson would be the likely inclusions methinks.
