  1. I'm sure there's a highly sophisticated and completely undocumented plan in place. Highly unlikely 'Whatever it takes' would be placed on the back burner for too long. The pharmacist's appointment would support that theory. Apologies for derailing thread. Nuff said (here)
  2. There's every chance he'll be as big, if not bigger, than Oliver by round 2.
  3. Ok cheers. Do you think there's a reason why the AFL have chosen not to display the interchange information on their match centre? Champion data are obviously recording it.
  4. Where'd you find that Stu? Tried to find it myself, unsuccessfully.
  5. In all seriousness, whilst he's out of action with the calf, is it possible to have him stand in a fixed position (no calf work) and someone kick or throw a ball at him? I'm suggesting some catching practice wouldn't go astray. I get he does a lot for the club leadership-wise, and perhaps muscle-wise on-field. I love him because he's wearing the red and blue, but for mine his calves ain't the problem.
  6. CBF going back and having a look. Who was it, or do I need not ask? In a former guise I mean...
  7. Hope it was a strong table, how'd it hold up?
  8. Very well put and hard to argue with. With regard to the bolded, I'd like to think they'd be putting in place rules for these big sports whereby if a team is caught undertaking a deliberate cheating program, i.e. Essendon, the team would be hit with massive fines. I believe they just changed the rules to allow team suspensions or something, but they should really be going for the hip pocket. I suppose the same could apply to individuals. I don't recall there being any monetary penalty for the players, so it's definitely an option. With increasing player wages no doubt comes increased temptation to cheat. The disincentive needs to be on a par doesn't it? I would call it a 'user' pays system.
  9. That's ok then. As long as it's not a hiccup....
  10. As he clicked the junk email button he was heard muttering 'It's a sad story but not of much relevance to me', or words to that effect.
  11. It's all a misunderstanding Choke. Early on in the saga, Dill received an email from ASADA that he wasn't quite happy with. He noticed there was a junk email button on the screen at the time, and as that's what he thought of the email he decided to click that button. Not realising however that all subsequent emails from that address would be automatically placed in the Junk email box that nobody ever looks at. So all subsequent emails from ASADA were never read until McD called to tell him they'd sent clear advice and suggested he check his Junk box. After 7 AFL technical experts had been called to assist, they located said email, and promptly advised the Dogs of the new information. See, nobody's fault really.
  12. Oh [censored] no, so you're saying Maxy is gawn as well?
  13. Just watched it again. I didn't notice it initially but it is quite a deliberate attempt to jump on him isn't it. Crude at the least.
  14. 1st quarter, clock at about 14:16. Could Viney have slaughtered Wines here and decided not to?
  15. For [censored] sake can you see what you've done here? Now I'm going to have to watch the bloody game again! Oh well, beers - check. Love a good win. Giddy up.
  16. He frustrates the bejesus out of me as well, but realistically he's still developing. The mistakes he makes are not unexpected from a player his age (add the amount of pressure he's been under playing in a shizen team). How many KPDs have as much experience as he does at his age? He'll stay, and end up a regular All Australian.
  17. I see what you mean but not 100% sure I agree. I reckon you can still be tough without the 'tough stickers'. I think Jeremy Howe has a few doesn't he? Each to their own.
  18. Agree with you. For mine that was the most frustrating part of our game yesterday. In tight congestion our players ALWAYS look to take possession - they then get tackled and prolong the congestion (that or get pinged for holding it). Players need to be more aware of what's around, quite often there's an opportunity to tap to advantage. The good teams do this, I haven't seen us have those smarts for a while.
  19. Was it the one where he not only rode the bump but looked to use it to his advantage and knock him back to his feet and away from the contest? That was the one that impressed me.
