I agree he is better than those players, but is it worth using the resources required to get him for a couple of years, or further developing our own and using those resources I.e cap space, on more pressing needs.

While I agree he would be great, how many HBFs do we need? We have Hibberd, Melksham, Hunt, H (if he comes back). Fully expect that he will re-sign with the Doggies, and wouldn't say no. But unless H retires I think it's the one position we aren't looking to bolster
