AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
This is that game we always have at least once a year. More of it, more scoring shots, and we get done.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
What's the point of shortening matches? Shortening matches won't shorten the season, only less games will. It won't make the season go faster, unless they play mid week too to get 1 1/2 - 2 rounds into a week. It won't lessen the chance of contracting Covid 19, as it takes about 15-20mins of contact (I think I read somewhere). Unless matches are shortened to 10 mins, what's the point? It won't really lessen the load on players, they'll just go harder later in games. I don't understand what they are trying to achieve.

Nathan Jones the best kick at MFC
I had trouble thinking of the 4-10 range, outside of Rivers and OMac. But you've listed a few I'd forgotten. May is, at times, a very good kick but can miss the easy ones at times. Trac likewise, but generally when it's a long kick or he doesn't have time to think about it (On the run, etc.) he is an excellent kick. When kicking for goal or from a standing start he seems to have too much time and fluffs them. Jetta is good but safe kick for me. I don't see him trying anything too difficult, which may be because he knows his limitations. But I also think it rules him out of being one of the best. Harmes is a bit Jonesy-like. Started as a bit of a butcher but has obviously worked hard at it. I'd still prefer the ball in Salem's hands, but it isn't heart in mouth stuff like TMac was coming out of defence. I'm quite excited about Rivers. I know it's early days and we've hardly seen him play, but his kicking against North, and the fact he didn't go into his shell when he missed a kick, is a great sign, I think. I don't think he'll be the best of the draft haul (Jackson and Kossie look special), but I think he'll develop into a more than reasonable replacement for Hibbo.

Nathan Jones the best kick at MFC
He's one of our better kicks when given time and space, but I wouldn't have him in the top 3. For me, it's Salem, Melksham and Fritsch in the top 3, and while very very early days Rivers seems to have a very nice kick and could easily push into that group. OMac, for all his faults, is also a nice kick. I'd group Jones around the 5-7 range.

Coronavirus: AFL & MFC
Huge result for us, footy wise. But will anyone buy a membership if they can't go to games?

Jeremy Howe Takes Swipe at Dees
Isn't the point of being AA that you do it for more than a few weeks? Howe hasn't done that, or else he would have been an AA by now. Howe is a amazing intercept mark. That's all. Not enough to be AA

Training 2020
Sure, but there are various other clubs that use AAMI. Surely the point of isolating the men's team (who would be the priority) is to keep them away from the 3 other clubs and support staff that use AAMI Park

Training 2020
I was surprised as well. I'm from the Latrobe Valley and don't remember any festivals in my time.

Goodwin's spiritual journey after season in hell
Good listen, although the proof will be in the pudding. But Goody definitely sounds calm and relaxed. Still hate the way he calls it 2-20.

Training 2020
Definitely seems to be the vibe on Instagram. Jones posted photos with the kids saying 'Good way to start a few days off' or something similar. A fee of the boys were also down in Sale for a music festival

GAMEDAY: MS02 vs Hawthorn
Really glad we've sorted our goal kicking over the summer...

State of Origin Game
Grundy looks like he's done a Maxy pre-2018. Looks very slim.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Pretty sure OMac's nickname is Porterhouse. Brayshaw especially has called him that on social media (for example, the Instagram takeover for team photos). No idea why.

2019 MFC draft board
Sorry to be a pain but it looks more like a 'tson' than an 'Rson'. So it seems like it would be Robertson. Also, as pointed out in another thread, that's likely their heights next to them. Robertson is roughly 185, Anderson is 191.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
The perfect forward for our mids. Good at ground level for when they kick it 5 meters on front of him. Great leap for when they kick it over his head

The look down at the Crows player when he landed was my favourite part. Arrogant, even

Fritta a late out. No replacement named, no idea why

Gawn Set to Be Named Sole Captain
How were the club to know they players wouldn't vote for him? Someone (perhaps Viney) said at the start of preseason that all leadership positions were open. Does it suck for him? Yes. Is it the clubs fault? No

AFLW: Rd 3 vs St Kilda
9 scoring shots to 4. No-one to blame but ourselves.

TEAMS: MS01 vs Adelaide
I was looking for AVB in the injured players and was worried when they didn't mention him. Should have kept reading.
