Worth a read re: North's early season justification of their form. Talks a lot about GPS and running numbers, which sounds oddly like the Neeld era. I remember someone recently (may have been Jonesy) talking about that era, saying our running numbers were amazing. But that doesn't help you if you can't play footy. “In terms of definitive KPIs, our pre-season GPS comparisons (these are confidential, by the way) showed that the total volume of distance covered across the group increased year on year by 10% and the high intensity running and sprint training volumes were both up by over 30%. Clearly coming off a low base.”
