  1. Bennell kicks this and I win $100
  2. Jetta drops a chest mark and then has his tackle broken. He's a deadset liability.
  3. Correct on most points IMO. However: FD will not move TMac back after playing him all pre-season (and last 2 years) as a forward. I'd give Hannan another couple of runs. Others I'd drop before him. I've been very disappointed with Weid's performance in the ruck. He doesn't jump and he's too easily bodied off the ball. Tomlinson ruck effort poor on Sunday. May need to be TMac that relieves Max. Max down fwd may be a good thing.
  4. I had a $10 five game multi, 4 legs in and in line to collect $257 if the Dees had won. The club would have got $150 of that. Sick to the back teeth of the cr@p we dish up week in, week out. Have followed the club for more than 60 years and know I won't see another flag. The only thing I'd miss if the club folded would be the camaraderie of my M9 mates who I only see at the games. I'd happily chip in $1k if it meant we could replace Goodwin with Clarko or even Lyon.
  5. I reside in Cat territory. They've never liked him from the get-go.
  6. Hard to watch that vision of Howe's knee giving way.
  7. Geez I hope not. Doubt I could bring myself to cheer for that bloke.
  8. I can't believe D'landers saying Nev 'hasn't been great' or 'sub par'. Face facts guys, he's been shocking. Ryan booted 3.3 against him and it should have been 6.0. Nev was little better against the Blues, constantly beaten to the ball. I love the bloke, but he's going to struggle to regain his spot. Tmac similarly needs a rocket up his backside. He's only keeping his spot on the back of his size. Less than 3 goals and he'll get the chop IMO.
  9. From the HUN: "...Naughton missed four weeks in 2018 with a left ankle problem, and could be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines, as the Bulldogs face an anxious wait for scans...."
  10. I don't think I'm a 'Goodwin basher', but geez, after the Hawks win last Thursday I love Clarkson in charge of our list. Reckon we'd have a flag inside 3 years.
  11. I don't think you can blame the Yanks on this occasion.
  12. Nev and TMac look lost. We're playing two short with those guys on the field.
  13. Agree. Appears lackadaisical even lazy waiting for the outlet handpass. Not sure how he's going to regain his 2018 form. If we have an over supply of in and under players then either HF or run-with role.
  14. My mate (an avid Crows supporter) taught Tom a few years ago. Rates him very highly. One to watch.
  15. Harmes on Cripps - spotting him 10cm but agree he's our best option. Leaves them to find a match for Oliver. Doubt Brayshaw will play on Wing. Tomlinson and Langdon brought to the club specifically to release the likes of Gus. Gus half forward for a while? Can kick goals from 50+. I'd think Jetta on Betts. Geez, Nev had better improve on round one effort.
  16. Report on Nine News. Didn't quite get the gist of what happened. A data leak of some description?
  17. Jetta handed Eagles 2 goals early. Handballed straight to Sheed who put it through from 30m. Ryan goaled (Jetta's man? - maybe Harmes) 2 minutes earlier. No way Harmes should play back.
  18. Yeah ...... nah. A re-launch of blue M&M's?
  19. I think I remember him. Doubt we'll see him this year unless the VFL cranks up.
  20. I didn't think he was too bad. Only the 8 disposals but wasn't overawed by the occasion. Would be more confident second up and at 'home'.
  21. Could someone please remind me again of the connection between Clint Stanaway and the Dees* (has his dad been a trainer)? Another 'club promo' on nine news tonight. We're certainly getting our fair share of publicity.
  22. Some positive news for Joel's company Getswift (from the Age 22/5/2020: https://www.theage.com.au/business/companies/former-afl-player-s-getswift-makes-comeback-with-revenue-boost-20200513-p54sfp.htm "The gyrations of Australia's tech stocks over recent months has hidden a remarkable comeback by one of its former darlings, last-mile logistics provider Getswift. The stock has soared to a multi-year high of 90ยข this month. This is the highest it has traded since the disastrous share price crash in February 2018 which followed the company's confirmation that fewer than half the contracts it had been publicising were actually generating any revenue. The 500 per cent gain since May last year represents a remarkable comeback for the company which was started by former AFL footballer Joel Macdonald to work out the best routes for his booze delivery service...."
