Finals Tickets
I have a couple of tickets for Friday night's game for sale. M3 (level 1) row Y. Two seats together. Possibly behind or beside the cheer squad. $35 each ie exactly what they cost me. PM me if interested.

Finals Tickets
Living 20km from KPark I know about 50 GFC members who attend every Cats home game (at KPark) where they have a reserved seat. I do not know one who'll be attending Friday night.

I didn't see this prior to sending you a PM.

Casey Demons v Geelong VFL Qualifying Final
I may be jumping the gun, but I'm guessing the likes of Johnstone and McKenna are playing for their AFL career? Even Pedo now that Weid appears to be adequate as a back up ruck.

Bernie Vince Retires
Spoke at the pre-match luncheon I attended on Sunday and was brilliant. Never took himself too seriously albeit gave his all on-field. I go the impression from his interview on SEN yesterday that his end as a player was on the cards. Thanks Bernie, and all the best for the future.

Finals Tickets
I stand to be corrected, but I believe we're the series ticket game, so there's bound to be bays, or at least many rows, of 'mixed' supporters. I assume some series tickets would be for level 4, some for level 1l

If you purchased tickets using a MFC barcode I suspect there'll be a bay of Dees supporters. It was mentioned that they tend to alternate bays except behind the goals (Punt road end in our case).

Finals Tickets
Not so sure. I think Dees cheer squad will be Punt road end - M3, M4. Most Dees in M55 - M57 and M1 - M11. Cats cheer squad city end (possibly because Dees finished higher) M33, M34. That's my guess.

I'm saying that I don't reckon any level of membership guarantees a non-GF finals ticket. As you know, Platinum members can access GF tickets a full day before other members. There's no such facility for lead up finals.
-
Finals Tickets
I have a guaranteed GF ticket membership. Not sure any membership category guarantees a 'finals ticket access'.

Finals Tickets
Not according to posts on the HUN site today. Not according to posts on the HUN site today but just checking on the Cats site, you're right. I'm even more disillusioned now. 110,000 members in total each able to purchase 2 tickets when there's <60k available (my estimate).

Finals Tickets
I'm dirty on the MFC in allowing members to purchase 2 tickets per one membership. That isn't/wasn't the case for Cats members. I've been a MFC member for more than 50 years, and a premium member (guaranteed GF ticket for 20 years) but I fear I could miss out tomorrow. I waited 5 hours online today. I wish I'd thought to log onto my phone simultaneously. I assumed Ticketek site would forbid that, as it should. I'll let the club know, in no uncertain terms, how I feel about their 'ticket policy' if I miss out. All I bloody well want is standing room as per 1988 and 2000 (when I was forced to buy a seat I didn't use).

On the Ticketek you can still access the MCC sales (if you have the correct barcode). So it's either not sold out or ...?

Trawl through previous posts - at least 3 or 4 from memory posting about success.

Finals Tickets
If you're not a MFC member I reckon you'll have no hope of getting a ticket. The public area will sell out, partly because a large number of MCC members will miss out, and as a large number of Cats and Dees MCC members have GFC/MFC memberships also (Cats need GFC to get into KPark) they'll opt to sit with us riff raff. I'm likely to get seats but only want admission to the Southern stand (to stand in M9). I'll post on here if that's what happens ie I'll be happy to 'downgrade'. BTW for the 2000 GF I had to purchase 9 seats in the Ponsford. Quite good seats, all together. I wanted standing room in M9 but didn't figure out how to 'swap'. I phoned the club to no avail. Hoping I have the same dilemma this year (myself and mates have guaranteed GF tickets as Platinum members. Crazy the AFL don't offer standing room for lead up finals.

They sold out in a couple of minutes from what I could deduce,

Finals Tickets
I was on-line from 8:56am, not realising I'd be timed-out after 3:15 minutes. Doubt more than 1000 or two sold. Tigers/Hawks supporters would have been the problem.

Finals Tickets
Just reckon that the Cats supporters that were at the Ticketek outlet at KPark, or those who got there before 11am (after failing on-line) would have got tickets. It was only the on-line sales that failed. As far as I know, the outlets have a different form of access - and limited seating access ie Cats areas. Cats members could only get one ticket per membership, unlike us.

Finals Tickets
waiting ... waiting. Assuming (hoping) the club will text us. Sometime this arvo - I assume after Tigers/Hawks tickets.

Finals Tickets
Given that a good percentage of the 65k Cats members live withing a 10km radius of KPark, I reckon the smart one would have headed there after failing on-line. I was on-line from 8:58am until after midday. I had no success but many (according to this site, did succeed). My mate was at the outlet in Traralgon (missed out) but was told by the operator that they are, by far, more successful than someone trying on-line.

Titus is correct. Had no problem securing tickets for Human Nature and Nigella.
-
Finals Tickets
Given that there's a Ticketek outlet at KPark, and I'm of the impression that there would have been no problem there (until the on-line sales were halted at midday), I assume there's 1000's of Cats members who have got their tickets. Does that affect our allocation, or are they divvied up as per the GF?

Bump. I'm sure Goodwin's comments on last night's OTC have been quoted. Please DL'ers, ignore this thread.

was mentioned 30 mins ago. You'd think that sales will be this arvo given that AFL sales tomorrow.
