  1. Looks good Deezman, I wish Green wasn't wearing that black glove. You have to look closely to work out what the black blotch is. EDIT: I still think that "Est 2000" is too prominent.
  2. You want two LJs in there? Now that I think about it, not a bad idea.
  3. Not only would we look amateur by doing so, but it doesn't make football sense to me for the reasons given above.
  4. Yes! Can we please use that until a new one is made?
  5. One dimensional player...who has kicked 50 goals in a season. Wish Melbourne had more one dimensional players We'd be mad not to look at him.
  6. Haven't had issues once I'm on the forum. But if I google 'demonland' and click the links, I get a tinyurl redirection error... Its not normally how I access the page, but odd nonetheless. Does this happen to others?
  7. I seem to recall from last year that part of the condition of the very early start to pre-season was additional time off over christmas, so perhaps the players will have less time off over christmas this year? Who knows, but any of the players involved in the China trip or IR series will have been in training anyway.

    1. Frawley: Has been incredible this year and will exciting to watch what he can become. 2: Sylvia: Would probably be #1 for mine if he was more consistent. His good games are something special. 3: Davey: Likewise, could go #1, amazing speed and skills but consistency lets him down. 4: Jurrah: Excitement machine, enough said. 5: Bate: Not sure what it is, but have always liked Bate, hopefully he will step it up next year.
  9. That thread of designer's opinions reminds me of movie reviews by movie critics... Always making ridiculous comments on aspects of the film that 99% of the public couldn't care less about.
  10. Well ideally he would, but he will be doing year 12, may be too much of a distraction / time commitment.
  11. Doubt it's coincidence, but I'm sure they would have kept him regardless, maybe on a lesser deal though.
  12. Poll is closed. But seriously, what a disgrace. Equivalent BF poll had it 65/35 Jurrah's way with 500 +votes. AFL has their ridiculous register to vote system and susceptibility to putting in multiple votes...Not saying BF is perfect, but very few would go to the trouble of making multiple BF accounts for the sake of a poll.
  13. Looks like a few have booked for surgery, 4 or so more out for the season compared with last week.
  14. Not looking good for our chances... North and Sydney both having dominant first quarters...
  15. Just to be clear, do you mean "we" as the MFC, or "we" as the MCC members?
  16. Finally I can take the debt demolition website off my bookmark bar! Great effort to all involved!
  17. Jurrah to kick 4, Brown and Fev to kick 4 combined.
  18. Yeah, unfortunately some aspects of their GC concessions have no comparative measure in the 05/06 draft, such as the trades you mentioned.
  19. Just out of interest, this would be the team that would be starting to win premierships this year, using the 2005 Rookie Draft and 2006 National Draft as this is the equivalent draft. This was considered a "superdraft" at the time. For the zone selections, I simply selected the next best player from each zone that was not already selected. I did not include potential 17 years olds drafted from 2005 because many would have opted not to join GC and more importantly, I could not be bothered checking their ages B) 2005 Rookie Draft 1: Ryan Jackson 2: Alan Toovey 3: Luke McEntee 4: Lachlan McKinnon 5: Angus Graham 2006 National Draft 1: Bryce Gibbs 2: Scott Gumbleton 3: Lachlan Hansen 5: Travis Boak 7: Joel Selwood 9: David Armitage 11: Andrejs Everitt 13: Jack Reiwoldt 15: Daniel O'Keefe 26: Shane Edwards 43: Tim Houlihan 60: Carl Peterson 2006 Rookie Draft 1: Sam Jacobs 2006 National Draft - 5 QLD, 3 NT zone selections [QLD]: Shaun Hampson [QLD]: Gavin Urquhart [QLD]: Albert Proud [QLD]: Brent Renouf [QLD]: Ricky Petterd [NT]: Nathan Djerrkura [NT]: Joe Anderson [NT]: ??? (Couldn't find another in that draft) Given there isn't a great deal of talent in the GC team this year, this would make the crux of the team, prior to players drafted from current teams. I don't see that as a team that will win 5/10 premierships...
  20. What a ridiculous article! 10 flags in a row for GC/GWS? Talk about an exaggeration! Honestly, I doubt they will win any in their first 10 years. You can't draft a premiership team in one year.
  21. Going by some the logic in here, Wonaemirri will be delisted as well.
