Has the club finally realised that the red and blue army thing is not working?

The red & blue army will have served a purpose in providing a data base which will no doubt be used to encourage people to become members. In that regard having this follow up ad to become a member makes good sense. Pretty good lateral thinking IMO, the type that most here are asking for!

The real trick ( or at least one arrow in a quiver) is to channel and coerce free press.

What I actually meant to post before getting sidetracked was that the Walk to the G on the Queens Birthday weekend against Collingwood from Federation Square is the real rallying point for me in this year of otherwise over-priced celebrations and expensive products.

This is the one real chance for us ordinary supporters to actually assemble en masse as loyal members, show our allegiance come hell or high-water to the MFC and with champion players of days gone by walking alongside us with their Demons scarves proudly draped around their necks. Bet your bottom dollar Barassi, Flower, Stynes etc will be there.

The more we get there, the better.

Best of all, we beat Collingwood.

l think the club could to so much more to get more members one thing lve alwas thought would be that every member ship sold.

you went into a draw and every player takes out a name and they would deliver the membership to you.

for every little demon pack they would have the chance to present a player with their jump as it did at the family day this year.

and every membership went into a draw each week to run on the field with players .

these things are things that money cant buy but a member ship could.

a also think that for my child to get a birthday card off the club l have to pay is wrong this should be a given in the little demon packs.
