Not really, just a choice to stay feeling positive.

I find that making grand statements helps me. ^_^

Everyone should try it.

Say it after me.... MFC Rocks My World And A Premiership's On The Way.

Thats the spirit , no wonder we need AFL support to keep us going , you know what they say when the going gets tough the tough get going but you already know that dont you Yze_Magic. Surprising really your posts are usually quite optimistic just having a bad day are you?

MFC rocks my world, and while I wait for the premiership that is on its way, the MFC will continue to rock my world no matter what happens.

Good work.

I refuse to hit the panic button before the season starts.

Good work.

I refuse to hit the panic button before the season starts.

I couldn't agree more

It only takes one game to hit some straps and get some confidence

Round 1...Whitey palms down to Brocky, Jonesy shephards knocking Mitchell down flat on his ass, ball is drilled onto Neita's chest. Kicks a skipper's goal from 55m out

Suddenly everything Bails has been drilling into the boys seems a bit easier to action on the field, when we've got our tails up and fighting 200% with premiership points on the line

Bring on Round 1!!

Oh and my i say: CARN THE DEMONS!!

YM, sadly - and what a word it is - you are right.

2008 with BB in his first year resonates in my mind as another 81 with RDB.

I can't see how we are readily going to kick 12 goals a game, let alone 15.

Geelong showed last year that the Premiership is first won in the head, then on the ground.

This has been our weakness as long as I can remember it, sadly typified by Round 19 and beyond in 2004.

Biffinator.

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

A few years ago, the Melbourne Football Club produced a documentary about the decade in which it rose from its dystopic purgatory of regular thrashings to the euphoria of a premiership victory. That entire period could have been compressed in a fast motion version of the 2025 season to date as the Demons went from embarrassing basket case to glorious winner in an unexpected victory over the Dockers last Saturday. They transformed in a single week from a team that put in a pedestrian effort of predictably kicking the ball long down the line into attack that made a very ordinary Bombers outfit look like worldbeaters into a slick, fast moving side with urgency and a willingness to handball and create play with shorter kicks and by changing angles to generate an element of chaos that yielded six goals in each of the opening quarters against Freo.
