Ok, this post will no doubt have me labeled as the forum knit-picker but put simply, enough is enough. Below is a list of the current MFC players. Please note the spelling of each of these names and feel free to refer to this post whenever you're unsure of the spelling of one of our players. In particular, please note the spelling of Meesen, Moloney and Dunn (minus an 'e' on the end). In addition, for those who like to reminisce, note the double 'r' in Garry Lyon and the correct spelling of David Schwarz.

Thanks. Of course misspelling is not new to MFC -remebering that the club infamously misspelt RDB's surname (as Barrassi) in the letter dated 23 Feb 1953 inviting him to attend training for the 1953 season!

Just noted that training started on 5th March so 55 years ago tomorrow. Also I never realised that RDB inherited no 31 from his Dad. RDB waas also picked up under the Father - Son rule, which was a Melbourne idea. If they had not thought of it he would have had to play for Carlton or the Filth!!

    It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter.
