I like the cut of Deano's jib, but right now, he has alot of work to do. Talking in December is one thing, action in march is when he will really start to be judged. But so far, i think he is a god fit.

Also great to G.Lyon get involved and talk Robbo around. Like the article says, Garry gets criticised for not being involved in the club, but he is red and blue through and through, and he is often talking to players...when they ask him. a true club great!!!

Great article, Mike's always good at a December fluff piece, but at least "The Dean' is saying all the right things. It's hard to not get excited about the new era, but it seems the suck it and see approach is the best way to take this. Too many disappointments to get too excited yet!!

It doesnt matter what happened in 20years ago it doesnt matter what happened last season because today is a new day with a new coach a new team and a new attitude. Dean Bailey at the moment has ticked all the boxes so no criticism is needed for the moment until he makes one but Bailey looks like the man who learns from mistakes and would not keep a recurring problem occur which we faced occasionally through the Danhier Era.

As Bob Dylan said "The times they are a-changing" so lets just sit back and watch our team in the 2008 season and support them through the good times and the bad times.

As said in the article we have players that are at a fitness that was expected in Janurary and players are not happy about last season and are looking to rectify it, so you know that we are going to come our roaring. People can critise and point out flaws and complain but I don't care cause i know that I'll be cheering for my club come the 2008 season and beyond because nothing can destroy my optimism and nothing can destroy my faith.

CARN THE DEMONS!!! FOR NOW AND FOREVER!!!

Bingers, I appreciate your caution, but the Barassi era was the precursor to our 5 consecutive finals appearances under Northey. The vast majority of that team were brought together by Barassi and Slug Jordan. Perhaps his 5 year plan should have been 7!

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
