Well it took me a while and with some tough decisons i ended up with this team.

Coach: Kevin Sheedy

Assistant: Neale Daniher

B - Glenn Archer - Darryl Wakelin - Darren Gaspar

HB - Joel Smith - James Clement - Clint Bizzell

C - Scott Camporeale - Nathan Buckley(VC) - Rowan Jones

HF - Byron Pickett - Chris Grant - Anthony Koutoufides

F - Matthew Lappin - Fraser Gehrig - Ben Dixon

R - Luke Darcy - James Hird© - Mark Ricciuto

INT: Richie Vandenberg, Chris Johnson(bris), Aaron Hamill, Paul Licuria

EMG: Andrew Thompson, Nathan D. Brown, Brett Voss

Some of you will disagree with me but imo it looks a good team.

that team on its day could have competed against any all australian team of the past decade without a doubt. andrew thompson is a bit stiff for mine, but then again, where do we fit him in? great job. it shows that the afl will be poorer next year for the loss of so much talent...

that is one damn good team.

however, i would definitely have chris johnson in the starting 18. hes won 3 premierships and i think another 3 or 4 all aussies. i would also have any of the 3 emergencies over rowan jones.

Troy Cook over licuria easily

no Shane Parker

You have got to be kidding me about Troy Cook, he is the biggest dud, he cant even kick 40 metres. All he can do is tackle which isn't good enough to make the team.

About Shane Parker, i had to choose either him or Gaspar. I thought Darren Gaspar had a much more successful career in comparison to Shane Parker.

You're correct about Chris Johnson but i just didn't have anywhere to fit him in.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
