The umpires are killing us!

I've been a vocal critic of our comms, but credit where it's due they're producing some terrific content, and livestreaming an intra-club match is a terrific initiative.

The article on the MFC website doesn't say if they'll have commentary. Doing so would certainly add an extra level of complexity.

I'm still not a fan of our website - it's clunky and hard to navigate and find specific information.

I think all AFL clubs are the same with their websites. They all have the same type of set up/ style of what I’ve seen anyway. It’d be nice if they were all different and easy to navigate

Yeah the websites are all run by the afl I believe as they all look identical but have small differences.

  • Demonland changed the title to INTRACLUB: Friday 13th February 2026

I presume they’ll have proper umps, and I hope the new “stand” rule is strictly enforced. Hopefully the players will learn from it.

I don’t want us to be giving away lots of 50 m penalties this year.

Just checked the Club website here are the Deetails.

"Tune in this Friday morning from approximately 10am, February 13, via the Melbourne website or app.

The match will consist of three periods of 20 minutes plus time on.

The live stream player will appear below near the beginning of play."

Enjoy

"20 minutes plus time on"? Why the time on? What does it add? Why not just make it three periods of 25 minutes each?

No 5 with the Blues - costly turnover under no pressure giving the Whites their first.

Nice goal, Rooey

Turnover Paddy Cross lookalike marks and goals from top of square for whites. Goal apiece.
