I reckon Sam Allen will be highly considered for our pick here if he is not gone by then.

Truth is there might be quite a few on the radar for this pick assuming we keep it - but I agree Allen does look like a good prospect and the family tie with Ray Groom is also a bonus.

I'm sure had he not done his knee he would be closer to the pointy end of this draft.

+1 for Sam Allen. Huge upside if he recovers well from his ACL.

Another I wouldn't be surprised to see drafted at some point is small forward Tom Matthews from gippy. Another recovering from a knee injury (pcl i think) but looked impressive as a bottom ager in the couple games I saw.

His start to the year was progressing towards being a first round prospect. Played more inside and looked really comfortable in that role with his huge running power.

Has huge upside with his athletic ability.

Leon Kickett anyone??

I just really want a small forward haha

If you believe everything you read online, Tigers are keen....with pick 38!

Surely we take a punt if we don’t take Dove and then Pickett is gone?

I’d be spewing if we don’t get one of the three. It’s such a need for us in that forward line. Blows my mind they don’t seem to care for one.

Talor Byrne looks handy. Check out his 5 goal game on YouTube, has the highlights

Kickett to Pickett?

or Pickett to kickett, back to Pickett who kicks it!

We added 2 small forwards last year, Henderson and Mentha. We apparently have another coming next year as an Academy pick. We also have McAdam coming back from injury. Sure, none of those might be able to establish themselves in the short term, but nor would a first year draft pick.

The last time we picked up a small in the first round was Kozzy he didn’t pretty well for himself in the first couple of years.

It’s a need for us but if we get to pick 37 and someone like Kickett is still there surely you take a punt.

37… ? Assuming we keep it as is and don’t trade it up , down or out

It’s now unlikely that Latrelle Sumner-Pickett will be available , but it’s the draft so you never know.

I had optimistically thought Cam Nairn might slip down into this 2nd round range but now seems unlikely. JT might have to call out his name on night 1.

There is still going to be a very good youngster available by this mark. I agree with a few prior posters here that it may depend on our player types chosen at picks 7&8 and if JT wants to add a taller option or top up on a young midfielder

WA: Fred Rodriguez, Sam Swadling

SA: Matthew Leray, Blake Oudshoorn-Bennier, Jett Dahlitz

Vic country: Riley Onley

Vic metro : Rory Wright, Sam Allen

This pick will be our final pick , with Kalani White likely to get our last pick as a matched father son bid.

Henderson? Mentha? McAdam? Please🤦🏻‍♂️

Kozzy and Watson did pretty well in their first years. I’ll back a kid over the three of those you mentioned combined.

Your man Rory Wright at 37 for me SONS. Will be shocked if he isn't a good league footballer

BOB or Wright would be good solid additions from my limited viewing and knowledge.

My favourite recollection of a pick around this number is the 2014 draft.

Melbourne is up: and it's Pick 40 - JT is shuffling papers and subsequently revealed that he was a bit surprised to note that ANB was still on the Board, having been well up our list of the "next best avaialble".

Obviously other Clubs looked at what Nibbler didn't have, rather than what we all came to know he did have - an elite athlete and a great character.

Another Nibbler would be nice at 37 - or maybe it will be 40?

If anything it will come in. Maybe 32-35
