True, but it provides GC with even more leverage

Wasn’t the word that he would be committed to us if a trade could get done?

They haven’t had a player of tracs quality since gaz junior. and consequently not experienced in landing a big fish!

This seems to be getting more and more into fantasy territory.

We're not getting players for Tracc.

Question is now do dees have the balls to not trade Tracc

I haven't done work since last Monday

My family may or may not be dead

I need this to end

Nor have I. I’ve played the sickie card a little too much this past week. But I’m not lying… this stress IS making me quite ill

My MFCSS is at an all time high right now, but realistically there’s no way Hawks could put together a package this late in the period given they’re still after Merrett

Unless Humphrey came out told them in advance that he’s able to get out, I think we’d be the only feasible trading party

FWIW Anna Scullie is accredited ( afl and aflw)

That’s on paper.

Correct.

He wants to come home and he would go basically anywhere.

we are the easiest option for this to occur

I've been trying to get swept up in Humphrey land, so I can avoid thinking about Clarry in orange and crying.

You know what because of why?

Zero chance this happens. We'll be forced to take picks in the end. The only question remains is what the picks going back to Gold Coast will look like.

An even more Melbourne thing to happen would be for us to convince Bailey to request a trade home and he does that only for us to get trump at the death by Hawthorn.

There is no chance in hell that Hawks have the assets to get this trade done, nor is there a chance in hell that Dimma gives Hawks a leg up by trading BH to them

GC are not budging when they have a very good offer on the table for a player they desperately want, why the hell would they give him up to a direct competitor for not Trac?

Nearly all AFL scribes get their info from player managers so that is no surprise.

VJ's point I think being, in this case, that it's not from GCFC, who are the ones in control of BH's destiny, not CP.

It's possible CP's management have a knowledge of GCFC's position, but why would GCFC necessarily be conveying the correct one?

Forced by who ? The pretend chef ? His wife?

Sorry nobody is forcing us to do anything unless we choose to do it - big difference

We will see.

Have a look at what has eventuated

  • Player meets with clubs without GC knowledge and Player manager knowledge

  • BH posts crypitc IG post (Take me home)

  • 2nd Meeting after Cameron says its not happening

  • Ainsworth coming out and saying he has personal issues

  • Dees persistent in Baileys pursuit even afer being told a flat NO

  • Player manager info

  • More money and guaranteed more midfield minutes

There is a lot more than that and some I cant tell you about.

Its not 100% guaranteed because there are simply a few different angles to this, but the INTENT is there

As much as it upsets me Clarry is going I’m happy it’s gws rather then a big vic club

Merret a very likely move to Sqawkers by tomorrow.... apparently 🤷‍♂️

Puts them out of the ring maybe.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
