A necessary fix, OF?

Although, if you have inside info: sharesies please? 😊

I thought it was established that at the exit interview he was told that his preparation etc were not up to the standard expected of an AFL player, let alone a first-rounder. But perhaps I was wrong. Can anyone help with this?

The Kolt showed a bit as Casey earnt a spot in the finals, a full preseason and perhaps the new coach playing him with a bit more freedom may help him find his niche in the side.

Only those in the room during his exit interview would know for sure if this is what transpired.

BTW, and this isn’t directed at you whatsoever O.F., I mentioned I ran into Kolt at a café and it sucks that anyone would now use that to have a dig at him. He was taking a break from a voluntary gym session. He’s allowed to do that, right?

Source, DB? (may have been in the other thread?)

Going to give @Dee Boys a fair plug here but he is well connected to a current player within the team.

The day before the official delistings had been announced, DB was pm'ing myself with the name of the blokes that had been told that their contracts would not be renewed.. 24 hours later it was officially announced.

So I believe him 110% on the feedback that has been provided to Tholstrup.

Voluntary gym session?

Still working on the probability of you bumping in a Melb player a day after a discussion on Judd in one of the thousands of cafes in Melb and he Volunteers to you that he was shocked Judd is leaving. Are you a stalker Ghosty?

Call me a liar without actually calling me a liar.

The café is outside AAMI, Kolt was working out at the AAMI gym, I was on my way to watch the girls train at the AIA Centre which is next door to AAMI, I popped into the café to get a takeaway coffee, Kolt came into the café, we chatted just like we do at Gosch’s and he mentioned the Judd announcement.

Why is this so hard to believe?

Up and down I've heard. The barista has lots of potential, hoping they really improve in 2026.

For the love of god don’t tell me the barista has signed a lease and isn’t going anywhere! I’ve been hurt too much this week.

Give it rest. I’m bored with you/this, and I’m sure many others are as well 🙄

Not good, great!

Ever since my delightful Colombian barista Alejandro shut up shop I’ve been getting a coffee at Richmond station which is fine once you get it past the gag reflex but is nothing like the coffee at the café near AAMI. They also make a mean lemon slice 😋

Ghostys boy. Lets hope he gets out of cafes and trains hard.

Seems to have been drafted on his physique, strong body dominating skinny kids at Junior level. Confidence way ahead of ability at this stage. Needs a good talking to by King, clear goals and expectations.

Why do you feel the need to bring up Ghosty in multiple threads?

I’m genuinely curious.

Pm BoBo with this answer. Soz BoBo, it is one thing to question another poster (GW) and disagree, but to harass them continuously is wasting everyone’s time….

Hint, both threads involved Kolt.

So the fact that Kolt is mentioned in multiple threads, with multiple posters also posting in both threads, yet you specifically mention Ghosty, but don’t pointedly direct a comment towards them.

I’ve had a lot of disagreements with a lot of people on this site, they probably very much dislike me, but the one thing I can guarantee they will tell you is, I don’t shirk a confrontation.

I just want to know why you don’t say it directly to them instead of just mentioning their name. The @ capability is right there.

Help me understand your thought processes.

Time to put some kolt water on the direction of this thread?

who the hell do you think you are? Ghosty and I disagreed on something and gave as good as she got. Good on her, I accept her side of the story now. What does that have to do with you?

I have complete faith @48 Year Now has perfectly reasonable explanations for his behaviour in a public forum.

I just like to find out how people work internally and thank you for your response. Much appreciated.

The Demon stalwart surpassed the number of his father's appearances for the club towards the end of the season. As he approaches his thirties, his pace is inevitably slowing, and he is likely to explore alternative opportunities beyond the team's midfield.

“Disco” took his time (four seasons) but the mid-season draftee has been a shining light of Melbourne's campaign, improving to become a versatile option at either end of the ground. He has great marking skills which allows him to play as a marking target up forward or an intercepting defender down back.

The skipper delivered another outstanding season, leading the team from the front, participating in every game, and earning club champion honours, while also securing an equal record eighth All-Australian blazer as a ruckman.  Max Gawn is arguably the greatest exponent of ruck skills in the history of the game; an exceptional leader who has guided the club to a premiership, through the challenging times that followed, and now into the next phase of its storied history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup

It was a frustrating season for the former number 13 draft selection, who failed to build momentum in his second campaign; Tholstrup played only nine games, having been omitted twice and substituted out three times. However, he demonstrated promising signs in the midfield at Casey towards the end of the season, and big things are anticipated from him in the coming years.
