As a teenager, I went to every Preston game in the 60's and 70's as my father was an assistant coach. They were such a strong club. It is actually sad to see what they've bcome.

Finally, Fullarton cashes in. Kicked 3.3 with at least 3 shots at goal that didn't even score.

I know it is like comparing the worst from the second worst but Fullarton is a better player than Jefferson.

Great day for football

We are allowing Preston to crowd the ball.

Would like to see a more aggressive spread and perhaps a few players hanging back in an attempt to reduce the numbers around the ball carrier.

on skills and marking ability we are streets ahead

Bullants first goal 2nd qt 27 min in.

Siren beats 2nd.

Alan Joyce as Captain Coach. Phil Gibbs calling the games on Channel O.

adams a nice contested intercept mark but his disposal is iffy at best

No turnovers from Adams though….

Unlike Henderson, Hardie, Brown, Mentha, and Woewoden.

The amount of turnovers through missing little kicks is making me lose my mind.

Running themselves into trouble because they can’t use their opposite hand/opposite foot is also [censored].

Yep, Dick Telford, David Dickson, Bob Heard, Ray Shaw etc etc. A true golden era.

Jeff’s work in close is streets ahead. Cream has trouble changing from foot to hand, or left to right if he is crowded.

The Blues when they took over the bullants did them no favours.

Strange competition the vfl as we've discussed many times.

Given the game in Sydney and the location of today's game we should have a couple of thousand supporters here.

Lucky to be a couple of hundred

Sestan leading disposals for Casey 16 kicks 1 handball at 88% efficiency

Billings Bonner Baldi getting plenty of ball

Jack Henderson working hard 6 tackles

Tom Campbell 67 fantasy points to halftime

I don't agree but like I said both are not senior level quality.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
