Usually the Good Friday game involving North is a yawn fest but this one could be a good watch.

Carlton's season definitely on the line. Win today and they may still scrape into the final 8. Lose and Voss, like Goodwin is gone

Still a yawn fest @Diamond_Jim you put any sort of pressure on them and they fold like a deck chair.

What does that say about us that they beat us by 10 goals.

#[censored] my life.

F k we made Comben look like a champion the other week.

This is embarrassing.

‘superstar’ LDU with 7 kicks and 5 clangers, 2 clearances needs to take a good hard look at himself

He’s already signed, moneys in the bank.

Watching this game are posters still keen to trade Fritsch (28) and Petty (25)?

Difference between devoid of talent and devoid of confidence / interest.

We’ve got talent, we just need a new coach / coaches and a game plan to boot.

Yep a few fell in love with his handful of games where he was elite. A good club would have let him walk and accept that money elsewhere.

I hope the nth fans that celebrated like they won a premiership when they beat us are enjoying the game right now.

It just shows just how bad our forward line is functioning.

Be careful, we’ve got Anzac Eve and KB.

I reckon all games should be cycled. The Pies get KB and Anzac. They are already a big club. They should go to the NT and other remote parts to promote the game. Use their member numbers for the good of the AFL.

On current form Collingwood will destroy us and take pleasure in doing so.

When they’re our home games Tigers / Pies still bring the crowd and we profit heavily.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

The media focus on the fiery interaction between Max Gawn and Steven May at the end of the game was unfortunate because it took away the gloss from Melbourne’s performance in winning almost everywhere but on the scoreboard in its Kings Birthday clash with Collingwood at the MCG. It was a real battle reminiscent of the good old days when the rivalry between the two clubs was at its height and a fitting contest to celebrate the 2025 Australian of the Year, Neale Daniher and his superb work to bring the campaign to raise funds for motor neurone disease awareness to the forefront. Notwithstanding the fact that the Magpies snatched a one point victory from his old club, Daniher would be proud of the fact that his Demons fought tooth and nail to win the keenly contested game in front of 77,761 fans.

  • POSTGAME: Collingwood

Despite effectively playing against four extra opponents, the Dees controlled much of the match. However, their inaccuracy in front of goal and inability to convert dominance in clearances and inside 50s ultimately cost them dearly, falling to a heartbreaking one-point loss on King’s Birthday.
