Caleb Windsor dudded?

Featured Replies

How did Caleb Windsor not even get a nomination for Goal of the year this week, when upon viewing the 3 that did, the Dukes was best by a country mile?

Agreed.

He started his run and carry on the defensive side of the centre square.

The 3 contenders must have bene pretty amazing if Caleb didn't get nominated.

Guessing everyone's love child Wizard Watson was one of the nominated.

Yep TOTALLY SHAFTED

I get the disappointment over this, but WE know how good the Duke is, and the longer he's kept under the radar for us, the better.

Windsor deserved a nom but Miers was the best of the lot.

The Duke deserved a nomination, it was a brilliant effort. Such a shame that his infection has flared again and he required hospitalisation this week to try and get  it under check. Good luck Caleb, you will be sorely missed (pardon the pun).

Who were the selections? I was hoping a quick check on YouTube would bring them up.

EDIT: Looks like Long (Suns) and Miers (Cats) kicked quick snaps from the boundary and the 3rd was Crow Rachele doing a blind turn and snap in congestion 30m out. I'm really not too fussed. Watching Duke's goal and his wizardry setting up Jefferson with a mark 40 out almost guarantee he's improved this year and he'll help keep Melbourne among the good teams for years to come. Honestly he may kick a few better goals this year.

Haven't the AFL made him change his name yet? Worse than Whiskers.

He changed to Leo Messi a couple of years back didn't he?
